Marci Bowers is a 1986 graduate of the University of Minnesota medical school where she served as Class and Student Body President. During her 20+ years as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist she has provided more than 2000 babies and has served as Ob/Gyn Department Chairperson at Swedish Providence Medical Center and as the only physician member of the Washington State Midwifery Board.

Pelvic pain may be caused by a multitude of reasons (musculo-skeletal, intestinal, endometriosis, large fibroids, pain with ovulation, etc.). A work up done by your gynecologist is a good place to start. Surgery is typically unnecessary but can be helpful, particularly when symptoms persist, in diagnosing the cause of the pain.

A big shout out to the best Dr. Marci Bowers, Robin Lassiter, Erika Thys & the rest of her staff for making my dreams come true. The surgery that change my life and i was looking forward since i was born and i taught the dream was never going to happen I felt like it was to far away but every day i would pray that my dreams since i was 5 years old because every morning before waking up for school this little girl that would pop on a cloud and i wanted to be her and time went by & discovered that girl was me.
Besides her staff the hospital staff from Mills-Peninsula Medical Center were very helpful as well. Marci bowers i don't have words to explain how happy i am with the results and it's only been since February 9 so imagine how it will look in the next few months. I know the waiting is long but its worth every min, days it took 4 years of waiting but i was very confident back then now i'm 2000% more confident. matching my body. I can't possibly express in words how great Dr. Bowers and her team are. They made the whole surgery process from start to finish so easy and I always had someone I could reach if I ever had questions pre and post operation. Dr. Bowers is also an amazingly talented surgeon with a personable and great bedside manner. I highly recommend her and her entire team!

There is no one better than Dr. Bowers! Dr. Bowers' staff in Colorado and Burlingame were exceptional, not a question they couldn't answer as well as Dr. Bowers herself. They worked with our insurance company and surgery went very well. We were on a 1 1/2 waiting list - now the waiting list is more than 3 years, so if you want the best being Dr. Bowers it's wise to put down a $1,000 to hold a place for future surgery (I believe that's the cost). So grateful for such a streamline process, exceptional staff and superior Doctor Bowers!
