At Beacon, we all come to work every day because we're passionate about helping others. Beacon's founder and president, Holly Hylen, calls it "filling your bucket"-living with purpose and passion. In 1999, Holly made the difficult decision to forego her aspirations of becoming a doctor to found Beacon-a move which would allow her to help far more people than she ever imagined.
From its humble beginnings, operating out of a trailer hitched on the back of a Dodge Ram to the international single-source solution it is today, Beacon's commitment to occupational health and safety continues to shine bright.

I had to wait a week for the results of a drug test to come back before I could start a new job. Then THEY CALLED ME to tell me that they were going to call again. I've been on hold for an hour now, listening to the same mp3 audio of some classical music that repeats itself every 45 seconds. The wait in the lobby was ridiculous even with an appointment. Avoid this facility at all costs unless you have absolutely nothing to do but waste time.

Quit my job, past My ua, everything was good, & the fit for duty lady fail me for not lifting a box correctly and fail the person before me and after me.now I lost my opportunity that I been waiting for all year. I'm a framer carpenter I been working construction for over 10 years I don't know what this lady's problem was but she didn't seem to like my tattoos or my personality. I'm sober hard working and I have a family. This is discrimination. I hope someone does something about this I'm so upset.

I needed a pre employment physical for my travel agency. I paid out of pocket to I called around to several urgent cares and clinics in Anchorage. Beacon was the cheapest I could find and they charge $100. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is best to make an appt a couple days in advance. I needed mine done asap so I sat in the waiting room for about 1.5hrs and they were able to get me in. Staff was friendly and efficient.

They give you no details about the process. The city website says to pull up and someone will come out. Turns out you need to register first and their signs to register are hidden in the parking lot. That's after you figure out you're supposed to go to the back of the building. The registration itself asks way too many unnecessary questions and then you wait for 1-2 hours for it to finally be your turn to pull into one of the testing spaces.
They seriously need to rethink their method and add better signage as to what to do when you arrive. They're wasting their own time by having to explain to cars that park in the testing spaces that they need to register.

Appointment time was 12.30pm, waited for 48 mins to be call, than waited another 20 mins for the doctor to come and examine and check on me, wait, that's not the last wait, I again waited another 25mins for my DOT card or paper work, this place is a total waste of time, have not choice cause is the company appointed clinic. I will not recommend this place to anyone at all. The front desk staff is not friendly n wasting time chatting with the regulars.
