At Surgical Specialty Center, we strive to bring convenient and compassionate care to our patients. With our patient portal and simple medical request and pre-admissions forms, patients are able to easily access what they need, when they need it. All patient information at SSC is confidential and protected by State and Federal laws and HIPAA regulations.
In compliance with federal law, SSCBR provides a list of standard charges for hospital services (the "Fee Schedule"). The Fee Schedule does not represent the actual amount paid by any governmental or commercial insurance providers, nor does it represent that actual amount for which a patient may be responsible.

This is the most dysfunctional and unorganized medical center I've ever dealt with. My son needed his tongue tie fixed and they refused to do it right away until I called and begged them to reschedule earlier. Then they cancelled my rescheduled appointment and made me reschedule it AGAIN to basically the original date. Waiting this long has caused so many issues for me and my son and trying to breastfeed and keep my supply up while we wait for his tie to be fixed.
On top of that, the nurse responsible for faxing over paperwork for covid tests and calling me back with information is so disorganized, never calls when she says she will (it's usually like a day later or I just end up having to call her first) and she never sent in any paperwork to the covid center like she was supposed to. I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of good care we have received and definitely don't recommend this center.

The MRI done for my mom was through the BR Radiology Group (whom I've also left this review for) - They've been reported to Medicare in violation of policy by charging beneficiaries (sp. senior age beneficiaries) for claims already paid for by insurance. This is fraud - they sent 3 charges to collections for my elderly mother, which we never received a bill for in the mail in January, and only now has it popped up on her credit report in August - called Medicare, they confirmed it's a violation of their policy - I WILL be following up to make sure they face the music.

Everything about it was nice and the people, Nurses, Doctor, evert person that I came in contact with couldn't have been any nicer. The guys from anesthesia made me feel safe and they all helped me not to be afraid. They all explained everything thing. It sounds too good to be true but it is. Thanks everyone and God bless.

Some on the second floor in the Receptionist area to check in for surgery are rude. They literally talk about you on the phone in front of you! The receptionist I encountered this morning was on her phone going mhmmm.mmmmhmmm in a tone to where I knew she was talking about me and my husband as we didn't have the entire amount of money to put up front.even though they still hadn't billed our insurance.but any way.she just looked at us stupid like it was our problem and just rolled her eyes.
Next time, God forbid, we WILL NOT use this facility. I bet if it was her she WOULDN'T have had so much cash up front! Very unprofessional.however, I will add that the staff on the first floor are extremely friendly and at least they help make up for some of the rude ones on the second floor
