Rude receptionist, terrible business practices My primary care sent a referral to them for an urgent issue. I didn't receive a call, so I called to just schedule it. The woman on the phone said, "We aren't taking new patients so we just aren't even looking at referrals." I was trying to clarify that they weren't even going to call me and let me know that and she started the interrupt and talk over me by just saying, "Yup, yup, uh huh." I'm absolutely appalled. Save the energy and avoid this place like the plague.

Zero stars. I went here for my very first GYNO appt. to get onto birth control. They gave me a free 2 months of birth control, and it worked for me. However, when it came to the 3rd month, and I tried to take their prescription to the pharmacy and I was told the type of birth control they had prescribed was NOT covered by my insurance. They knew my insurance, and I even asked them to make sure they chose one that was compatible.

My mother has been going to this clinic, for the past 5 years no issue. So I assumed it was a little mess up, and that I'd schedule an appt. Or call my doctor about the birth control and find an alternative. I call, no answer. Again and again for 3 MONTHS. They close the whole office on my lunch break, and close right when I'm out of school. IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT. even when I call during their hours, my call is either ignored or when they finally answered ONCE I was finally told my doctor no longer worked there, and that they would leave a note on the desk of the doctors that were taking over her patients.

Never heard back and its been a month. No referrals to any other offices or clinics, nothing. I am now in extreme pain, and have been searching for a clinic that can get me in ASAP because I need multiple medications prescribed, including my birth control I've been trying to get back onto for almost a year. I am DISGUSTED at the way I have been treated. Aswell as everybody else in these reviews. And I am extremely dissapointed, that my very first GYNO experience was done so poorly.

Great doctors but the receptionists apparently don't know how to do their job. Second time in a 3 month period they did not call me for a reminder. Good thing I've kept track of them! While they are currently open, the phones say they're closed. For women with health problems and constant appointments. reminders are vital and they clearly just don't care. Look elsewhere.

I can't even begin to express my anger. I have been waiting for my appointment for over a month because Blue Skies couldn't see me sooner than that, and now I have been told last minute that my appointment is canceled and cannot be rescheduled. I am having serious and very concerning reproductive health concerns and to not even be given referrals to any another sites is ludicrous. You are the most unprofessional medical site I have ever dealt with.

I wish I could give you any information on the actual medical care here, but unfortunately this center has cancelled every single appointment I've tried making since November. Every. Single. Time. The first time was when I was literally 5 minutes away. Then, they completely lost all of my information and acted like it was my fault when I called, wondering what was going on. Said my doctor wasn't even with their company anymore and whoops, no more referral.

I waited months to get in today and whoops again, have to cancel. I begged for them to help me because I have been in so much pain and the receptionist was so rude it made me cry. No thanks. Your company needs to remember why you're here: to help women in need, not treat us like we mean nothing.

Avoid this practice if at all possible. The only person during my visit who had any sort of competence was the ultrasound tech. The Dr. never checked to see if I arrived so I waited 30 mins past my appointment time. During the appointment the Dr seemed to be confusing me with another patient as she kept attributing issues to me that I DON'T have. She also forgot to put in orders for two tests that were important to do BEFORE my visit.

Also sat in the waiting room and watched staff ignore incoming calls. In general, communication with this office is extremely difficult. And they refused to give me digital copies of my ultrasound per HIPPA guidelines. Terrible experience all around.

If I could give zero stars I would. My OB Dr. Christine Snyder recently merged with Blue Skies. This was the first time since she merged that I have tried making an appointment with her. She delivered my pre-mature baby 4 months and she was wonderful with my pre-natal care. I called Blue skies to get on birth control. No problem. The receptionist was fine until I asked if it was okay to bring my 4 year old and my 4 month old with me.

Back story, we just moved here a little over a year ago and I'm a stay at home mom. My husband is in the military and time off isn't really a thing. The receptionist promptly says "no". I asked her if my doctor would be able to do an over the phone appointment as I have taken birth control pills before and don't really need other options. Again, no.

I asked her what other options were there? Before she merged, her office had absolutely no issues with kids being in the office. Mind you, all during Covid. Her reply? "Get a babysitter" and hung up. I'm absolutely disgusted and I hope Dr. Snyder knows what kind of business she's merged with.

EDIT: LOWERING MY REVIEW AFTER SEEING SO MANY OTHER RECENT REVIEWS ALSO HAVING ISSUES WITH THE STAFF! Other people have been lied to about being called as well! STAY CLEAR! I love the doctors! Everyone I've seen has been very nice and respectful. However, the receptionist are lacking. I had an appointment for a doctor that apparently no longer works there and the receptionist never called me to reschedule.

I really needed to speak to a doctor ASAP and they had me reschedule for 7 days later. I don't see their number on my call log and even if they did call they didn't leave a message. Who does that? I'm pretty sure they have my email as well but I got nothing. Then they didn't even ask to make sure they had my number correct so that this would not happen again.

It's not easy to take off work and now I have to do it again next week. I'll probably find a new gyn after my appointment next week. They literally did not care either that's the worst part.

Tried to call and let them know I was running late due to the inclimate weather and nasty roads. Was 10 min late and they refused to see me. Do not waste your time

I previously wrote a good review for my first visit, however with my experience with the staff and Dr. Fowlers medical assistance is horrible. I went in for an issue I've had for a long time. The Dr informed me I had to do therapy for a procedure. first of never heard of doing such a thing. My history has family working in OBGYN for over 20 years.

Finally she recommended me set up an appointment day for the said surgery and her MA's called me once and left a message. I called numerous times after to set up. Not one call back. I don't want ANYONE working on me if their staff can't be sufficient with just a call back. Horrible horrible experience. I moved over to another OBGYN and getting proper care.

My daughter was delivered by Dr. Stephanie over 20 years ago. I have had care from them for many many years. I was scheduled to have an operation and the staff neglected to call me to tell me that my procedure had been cancelled and then lied anout calling me. Never have I felt so uncared for by an office. This is particularly galling because I have had a long standing relationship with them.

DO NOT GO HERE! As a woman and someone who work in Healthcare they do not care about your health. The office manager is VERY rude. I had to call many many time to know what going on and she never get back to me. Here excuse was they have a lot of patients. Well if you can't do your job don't make that my fault. Don't yell when I am simply asking what is going on. Please do not go here ladles.

Zero stars. Front desk employees are cold and unfriendly. After my visit, I had questions for the Dr. that treated me, never ended up getting ahold of her. Also, they stop answering phones and close the office a half hour before the times listed. Why not just fix business hours accordingly instead of wasting everyone's time?

I started going here around two years before I got pregnant and I have never had a bad visit. I have been traumatized by other doctors since my first pap, but never again since I started at blue skies. The staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. Blue skies was with us throughout my whole pregnancy. Now I have a beautiful 18 mo. and everyone is always excited to see her when we come to the office! Dr. Stephanie and Jacqueline Morris were amazing at preparing this first time mommy for pregnancy and birth. Jacqueline M. has been so incredible throughout my treatment at Blue skies, I never want to see anyone else again!

Every woman who works at Blue skies is supportive, intelligent, and caring. We love Tammy who even knows my voice when I call in. I wish I could give this center more than a perfect rating. Thank you for everything Blue Skies!

I went here today for my first gynecology appointment. Everyone was extremely nice. Even when I was rude to the NP and corrected her about semantics that I was misinformed about. She asked if I was doing natural family planning. I told her NFP refers to the rhythm method and I practice fertility awareness instead. Now I realize NFP encompasses fertility awareness AND the rhythm method, so I DO use natural family planning. Whoops!

She didn't correct me but politely tried to use the wording that I was more comfortable with. She explained every step of the exam. She also took time to answer my questions and give me medical advice that aligned with my values and beliefs. I didn't feel rushed at all. When I told them that I didn't want any sort of hormonal birth control, nobody tried to push that on me.

Dr. Stephanie Fowler delivered both my baby girls and I felt in safe hands. My first delivery was a complicated one and throughout the middle of the night all the way to morning and she was with me every step of the way. She never gave false hope and was very truthful and told me exactly what we needed to do to deliver safely. My second delivery was super fast and easy and again made me feel very comfortable.

The office has a great medical answering service they always respond within 24hours in great detail avoiding having to make an appointment to come in if issues and questions can be resolved over the phone. This is a convenient service especially with young children. Some people may not like the truth the office staff may have to tell you, but I appreciate honesty and facts when it comes to health and safety. Thank you Blue Skies.

Terrible. I saw them during my first pregnancy and the nurses kept making me feel bad about my weight throughout my entire pregnancy. Mind you the nurses and half of their staff are all over weight themselves! Instead of being encouraging they make you feel hopeless. One of the nurses told me I shouldn't gain any weight at all during my pregnancy.

How is that even possible?! Growing a baby makes you gain weight! And I wasnt even that over weight. My BMI was 28 so they were acting like I needed to lose over 100 pounds or something to be in the 'healthy range. Also, they are super judgemental. I told them I had a drink of alcohol BEFORE I found out I was pregnant and they gave me such a hard time about it. I had my second baby at a birthing center and had such a wonderful experience there. I'll never come back here.

I've been going to this office for about 5 years and have only great things to say about the doctors and nurses. I had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Andrew Fowler, both times he was very caring and took his time answering all my questions. Both Jacqueline and Debra are amazing. I never had a problem setting up appointments or paying my bills through the phone and when I leave a voice mail, they call me back within a day.
