Really great doctors. We've used them for 18 years with no major complaints. I do think the practice as a whole could use some management help, though. They seem to have outgrown their ability to offer exceptional service. Consistently long wait times, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to get someone on the phone. They really expect you, the customer, to leave a message and sit by your phone for 24 hours awaiting their return call.

If you miss it, you gotta call back and start the process over. I know it costs money to have someone always on the phone, but if you are a doctor's office, it is indeed your line of business to schedule appointments. I don't really leave negative reviews, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere else to offer this feedback. I hope that it is actually helpful.

Child got denied services because of no mask by me, insane no child should be denied ever especially over a mask!

The Doctors and Nurses here are exceptional! I Love Dr. Goodwin and nurses Christine, Suzie, Rhonda and Eliza! The sweetest women you will ever meet, they have always taken care of my girls and given the best advice. The Front desk is honestly the only area in need for improvement, I've been coming here for five years now and since day one there has always been major attitude coming out of the reception area.

I dread having to deal with front desk and I avoid it as much as possible. The care Dr Goodwin And the other Drs and nurses provides my children is the only reason I haven't went elsewhere.

We just had our first visit here. I loved that there was a separate entrance for sick patients to keep them apart from well patients. I was impressed that the office was so clean and sanitized. Since it was a sick visit, we saw Dr. Walter instead of our primary, Dr. Goodwin. She was excellent and so personable with my boys. I took both my infant twins for a 2:45pm appointment, and we were rolling out completely through before 3:30.

Talk about service! I know that there may be instances where we have to wait longer, but so far, 5 stars! Update! We have since had 3 additional appointments here (well-checks), and I am just as pleased as I was after the initial visit. Dr Goodwin is an absolute dream. We actually got a diagnosis on one of my twins I've been pushing for since he was born with the previous pediatrician we saw to no avail. So so happy with this practice!

This is the worst clinic for children in Asheville. BY FAR! When I told my child's physician I thought she was showing symptoms that made me believe she may have ADHD they immediately tried to write a prescription for an adhd med based solely on the symptoms I said I was seeing! I had to REQUEST an actual EXAM be done on my child to ensure this was what was wrong.

They wanted to throw medication at her to shut her up and constantly recommended I up her dose anytime I said she was a little hyper at times on her very low dose. Never were any exercises or methods recommended to deal with her they just wanted to medicate her to the point she couldn't function any longer. We missed two appointments which I understand isn't okay but being a single mom of two, one with severe adhd life is hard sometimes and I cannot always control some circumstances.

I called ahead to cancel one as well. They discharged us and refused to refill my daughters meds so she went an entire month without any meds until we could get into a better clinic. They stressed how important It is that her dose be stable and work and in the same breath kicked us out with no warning and an empty perscription! It was a tough month for my child at school needless to say.

And they were always SO disrespectful and RUDE! I wouldn't bring my dog here let alone my child! My new clinic said it was unprofessional, immature and reckless the way they treated my child. I'm so so sorry if your child goes here. Good luck!

I have taken all of my children here since birth! Dr. Karen Walters is absolutely amazing. She was there for each birth & she has always gone above and beyond for my kids. She's there, in any emergency we've ever had. The other doctors here are pretty amazing too. We've seen many different ones with sick/walk-in appointments. There care is always top notch no matter the doctor.

My son had an appointment for a physical at 2:15, we arrived early to an uncrowded waiting area. I watched as 6 more patients complete their visit and leave, 4 of which arriving as much as an hour and half after our appointment time. It is now 4:40 and they just took my sons blood for labs. I highly recommend a different doctors office to anyone who's time is valuable.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. O'Donnell! My kids have been going there since they were babies. He is so attentive and truly cares. One of a kind doctor! (The other ones are great too. just to add!)

We love Dr. Jackson. He really takes time with you and never makes you feel rushed. We've never had to wait very long, even for a Saturday morning emergency appointment. The phone wait times are long and sometimes it's impossible to speak to someone for a simple question, but the friendliness of the staff and their genuine concern for their patients makes up for it.

First of all, we love Doctor Goodwin. She is thorough, patient, and incredibly kind. However, we have at times been very frustrated with the practice and their scheduling system. A recent example: our son was sick, so we called at about 1pm. MAPA gives you the option to stay on hold or have a nurse call you back. We've got a sick kid, so we choose the callback.

They call us back, and since we're watching a sick kid, we miss the call. We call back MAPA, wait another 30 minutes, get another call back. At this point it's 2pm and the rude receptionist tells us that she is unable or unwilling to schedule us for any appointments after hours, so we need to wait another 2 hours and call back at 4pm to schedule an appointment after 5pm.

At this point it has taken us 3 hours and 4 phone calls just to make a same day sick appointment. Similar situations have happened to us in the past, and we've had similar issues with the weekend answering service as well. I hope they improve how they handle same day appointments.
