The philosophy of Urology Surgeons is to provide those who come to us with the most courteous and sympathetic treatment and a high quality of care. We are a highly-skilled and professional team of board-certified urologists committed to caring for our community for over 35 years. With a focus on providing compassionate and quality urological care, we provide our patients with options spanning from surgical procedures to medical management. Our surgeons are highly-skilled, sought-after partners in our wider medical community and provide care at both Spectrum Health and Mercy Health Saint Mary's.
Services
As urologists, our physicians are highly trained to treat disorders of the male and female urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney, and urethra) and the male reproductive system. Urology is classified as a surgical subspecialty, but since a wide variety of clinical problems are encountered when treating urological conditions, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and other specialties is required.

Not the most welcoming office. The front desk employee was very rude to another patient. The PA I saw was very nice but the environment is very cold, didn't seem like anyone had the compassionate side of the medical world. I never even saw the doctor who performed my surgery.

Dr. Mander has been my doctor for about two years now. He is very thorough, kind, and compassionate. He does not mind calling you at home to answer questions or give me results which many of the other doctors I've dealt with do not do.

Dr. Manders is honestly the worst doctor I have ever had in my life. His office has failed to return my calls week after week. I also became infected with a UTI and then he repetitively treated me with the same antibiotics that failed to work every time. They sent me in for two different urinalysis that they failed to run cultures on and failed to let me know that I had a UTI. Worst doctor ever! Worst office ever! Do not call this office if you want to be healthy!

Office takes longer than any I have experienced to get back to me with answers to questions left on nurses line - takes multiple days. Disappointing because otherwise I respect this office.

This was an awful experience. My appointment ended up being rescheduled which is fine stuff happens but extremely inconvenient to arrange kids to be someplace and taking time away from work. The Dr asked if I could feel him poking me I said yes he then stuck me with more anasthetic and IMMEDIATELY went to work. He must have senced my toes curling and asked if I could feel it.

I mustered up a yes and his response was you have lots of tattoos you will be fine.hahaha funny guy let me cut your balls open and see who is laughing. Then the billing, I purposely schedule it towards the end of the year so HSA account would cover any additional costs. They billed it on January 6th so yay I can pay out of pocket. Oh and they Lost my deposit that I had to put down to schedule the appointment no record of it. Unprofessional on all levels, do yourself a favor and get a referral to someone else

I was referred to Dr. Mander when I ended up in Blodgett ER with a kidney stone. Both he and his staff were welcoming, caring and he explained the two options for my kidney stone treatment and the one that he recommended which was lithotripsy. I had that treatment done two weeks later and he was very compassionate, caring and re-explained everything that would happen. He is excellent and I would recommend him to anyone.!

Dr. Mander made me feel very uncomfortable knowing that I did not want a male touching me. My husband was in the room and he said, Dr. Navneet Mander was very unprofessional and not compassionate what so ever. I was shaking on the table of anxiety and he nor his nurse did anything to try to make me feel more comfortable. I would never go back. The staff, when I went to go check out, laughed at me.

It was one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. Dr. Mander is definitely in the profession for the wrong reason. Woman stay very clear of this one. I will never return. Mercy Health Transplant Center you should feel embarrassed that Dr. M. Hofmann sent me here to get a stent removed and made me go through so much trauma. Like I need to go through more trauma, after all the other surgeries and things I have been through. Dr. M. Hofmann, nephrologist at Mercy Health Transplant Center, maybe next time you will think twice about making a female transplant recipient go to a urologist that is very poorly rated, unprofessional and does not care about their patients, after I asked for a female urologist. Dr. M. Hofmann think about the patient and not the money!

These are the NICEST group of medical professionals I have EVER had the pleasure of meeting. From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor to the check-out clerk.seriously, SO KIND. They all went way out of their way to accommodate my needs.
