For routine questions please use the patient portal to contact the doctors during open hours. Dr. Bell or Dr. Weakland are available after hours for established patients. This is for medical advice to help you determine if you need to be seen at an emergency room or urgent care. If it is an emergency, call 911. Wait in your car or have a seat in our garden until the doctor greets you for in person visits. Message us if you need a same day/ same week appointment and no slots are available after checking the schedule of both doctors on the To Schedule page.

Ballard Neighborhood Doctors has been offering unique relationship-based family medicine since 2007. Drs. Bell and Weakland have fused traditional Western and naturopathic care to offer the highest quality medical care, individualized to your needs. We work respectfully together to become a place you trust--a true medical home.
We can make your life easier by caring for most members of your family in one familiar and comfortable place, Ballard Neighborhood Doctors. We provide family health care services from well child exams and Pap smears to care for chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes. We meet your same day urgent care needs with direct access to our providers.
After scheduling you will get email forms that must be sent back to get a visit confirmation. We can no longer offer annual exams with issues in our longer 60 minute block as insurers will not pay us for this time. You will receive an appointment reminder with a link to join the telehealth visit room after an appointment is scheduled.
At Ballard Neighborhood Doctors we believe in providing the same high quality of care to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. We accept private and state insurance and Medicare, and have a sliding scale for those to whom it is helpful. We take insurance in order to best serve our patients.
