At The Vein Center & CosMed, all diagnoses and all treatments for abnormal vein conditions are performed by an expert general / vascular surgeon. Furthermore, abnormal, benign skin conditions including improvement and maintenance of healthy skin are always monitored by a physician. Our medical director, Dr. Mark Blumenthal has carefully chosen the medical and support staff at The Vein Center & CosMed. All abnormal vein conditions are diagnosed and treated at The Vein Center & CosMed by an expert, board-certified general and vascular surgeon. Dr Blumenthal's years of experience assure all our patients an accurate diagnosis of any medical condition affecting their veins; or, just as importantly, other diseases, which may not have been diagnosed, whose signs can present as a vein problem.
Similar pathology that leads to varicose veins can cause dilated veins which are much smaller than varicose veins. The resulting condition is often referred to as "spider veins" since the affected veins often resemble the pattern of a spider's web. These usually appear in clusters with very recognizable patterns and can occur anywhere on the legs.

I am always greeted with a smile and a very warm welcoming. The entire staff is always willing to take time to explain your procedure thoroughly without any rushing. Dr. Blumenthal has a very gentle hand and talks to you to ease your mind as you are going through your procedure. You are never pushed into anything and they are very upfront with the cost and how long it will take. I highly recommend Dr. Blumenthal and staff.

I paid $800 to have the veins in my hands removed. The result was very poor and extremely painful. Since I was there, I decided to have Botox in my forehead. After two weeks, I still did not see any results. I went back to show the Dr. He said I needed more, I said no. He applied more Botox at no charge and again there was no difference, " Zero". I waisted $300. I have being having Botox for over ten years in a couple places, and the result was always great. A very unhappy patient!

Thank you for the micro-needling treatment this past month. I have been fighting facial scars for years. With just one treatment, I have noticed a significant difference in their visibility. An added bonus of this treatment, my skin was left with a smoother texture for several weeks after. I plan on scheduling another appointment soon!

I recently visited the Vein Center & Cosmed to determine if I should have spider veins removed from my leg. As you could imagine, I was a little nervous to go and show them my leg, but the staff was so nice and professional they made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Blumenthal took his time to explain the simple procedure and answer all of my questions. I will schedule my appointment real soon!

I went in for a Glycolic Peel last week during my lunch hour and it was AMAZING! The staff at the vein center are just the nicest people ever and Jennifer, who actually did my peel, was super helpful, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. My face felt rejuvenated and still does. I highly recommend!
