Breast Augmentation, also called "Augmentation Mammaplasty" is a procedure designed to enhance the size and improve the shape of a woman's breast. Many women report an increased sense of confidence as a result of the added volume and youthful contours that result from this procedure. Woman who have small or asymmetric breasts due to genetics can achieve enhanced volume and natural-looking results with breast augmentation.
Breast lift surgery, also known as "mastopexy, " corrects sagging, pendulous breasts by removing excess fat and skin and sometimes involves removal of small portions of breast tissue in order to tighten and shape the glandular component of the breast. The breasts and nipple-areola are raised to a more natural, anatomically correct position, are frequently made firmer and shaped into more attractive and youthful form.
There may come a time when a patient begins to feel unhappy with her breast implants after having undergone breast augmentation. Some patients experience changes to their body that can cause discomfort or medical issues to arise due to their implants. Others feel their implants no longer reflect who they are as a person.
Mastectomy is one of the most common treatments for breast cancer and it involves the surgical removal of breast tissue. Patients who are at high risk of developing breast cancer may also undergo this procedure as a preventive measure. Depending on the patient's individual circumstances, breast reconstruction may be performed at the same time as the mastectomy, or reconstruction may be delayed until after the patient has healed and/or additional cancer treatments have been performed.Breast Reconstruction is a process that seeks to restore a woman's breast (one or both) to a natural shape, size and appearance.

I couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. Knowling is so personable and knowledgeable. He acknowledged my every question and concern. I trusted his expertise and I am so happy with the outcome. The office staff went out of their way to make me feel at home! I could not recommend this place enough!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and had a bilateral mastectomy this past August with reconstruction. Dr Knowling did an amazing job with my reconstruction. His staff was absolutely amazing and made the process so much easier. I also appreciate that Dr Knowling took his time with starting my fills and making sure I was healed completely before starting that process. It made that process painless for me. He placed my implants in January and everything has been great since. I highly recommend this Dr.

After finishing my breast cancer treatments, I had a bi-lateral mastectomy. Dr. Knowling was the surgeon that completed my reconstruction surgery. I liked working with Dr. Knowling, because he is very professional and thorough with his work. I am not originally from the South, and having this surgery was scary, but I knew I was going to be alright due to the precision that Dr. Knowling brings to the table. Now, I'm not saying it was all sunshine and roses, there were a few hiccups, but they were mostly due to miscommunication with some office staff, which in the time of Covid, I understand.
I never felt like my body or life was in jeopardy by having Dr. Knowling perform my surgery. As a breast cancer survivor, I was treated very kind, as there are some that work there and have gone through the same journey. If you are looking for a plastic surgeon who does a thorough job, is professional and brings down your anxiety about the end result, I would recommend having Dr. Knowling preform your surgery. That being said, you might have long wait times as he is good at his profession, so he does have a lot of patients, so be patient. :

I saw Dr knowing about repairing a rhinoplasty. He ask for my records from another dr that I had sent to him while I stood in the lobby before leaving his office. They said he would review them n call me with his plans. I have called MULTIPLE times over a 2.5 month period to get that PLAN with MULTIPLE promises of a return phone call to which I've not gotten as if this post.
My last phone call to them was 3 days ago with a PROMISE they'd return my call that afternoon, like I always get told. I will be calling one last time to say I'm finding another surgeon. I've Never had to chase a Dr to give him my business. NEVER had a Dr too busy for a new client or business. I'm accepting this whole situation that God has protected me from a bad outcome especially after reading other reviews on him. I can only imagine if I'd had surgery n had a medical emergency!

I have gone to Dr. Knowling for procedures since 2001. I have had a tummy tuck and liposuction on thighs, breast reduction twice (they grew back over about 12 years) and eyelid surgery. I had a great experience every time. The office staff which has changed over time have always been kind and helpful as has Dr. Knowling.

I recently had a breast reduction surgery about a month ago and I'm so satisfied with the results! Not only am I super happy with how it turned out, but Dr. Knowling and his entire staff were so sweet and always willing to answer any question that I had with no hesitation. I had no problems/complications and honestly my healing process was not difficult at all. I definitely recommend going there if you're looking to get a breast reduction!

Dr. Knowling and his staff were fantastic to both myself and my family. I'm a year removed from my abdominal repair now, and I feel wonderful and strong. His technique is fantastic, and I'd recommend him to anyone. - Dr. Knowling also took terrific care of my son, when he needed a skin graft done. He was gentle and caring with my then 6 year old, and the results are beautiful! I cannot say enough good about our experience. Thanks so much for taking such wonderful car of my family!
