The doctors and staff are very personable and helpful. They all seem willing to answer every question you have and help make you feel comfortable. They explained the procedures before and after. An excellent experience!

Dr Bisbee and staff are very nice! Eye places can sometimes be intimidating but they made it very comfortable for me. My exam was detailed and Dr Bisbee explained everything! Highly recommend them

After 5 years of doing business with Lenscrafters, I was eager to find eyecare professionals who valued their customers and provided great customer service. I HIT THE JACKPOT with ARCHDALE! From the first phone call with Jodi and Robin I was sold! Sweet, charming, professional, informative and incredibly helpful I made an appointment to get my new Rx and some new glasses. Thomas and Alissa continued this love fest by providing their excellent skills and guidance, Karina was remarkable, warm and wise during the exam and Skylar, Laura and Kiera, Robin, Alissa, Jodi and Karina were all my fashion experts guiding me to make the right decision.

I love this team of professionals and delight in doing business with such an awesome group! Not only did I buy a new pair of Prada glasses but I also purchased 2 pair of Rx sunglasses, Prada and Jimmy Choo and I couldn't be happier. Their prices are also comparable or better than Lenscrafters. I highly recommend Archdale for all your eyecare and eyewear needs!

Thank you for your excellent service. All of your staff are friendly and involved. Dr. Bisbee is fabulous, thorough, and willing to take the time to share his findings and recommendations. I see Archdale as "heroes" since their referral changed my wife's vision from 20/155 to 20/15! It is great she can see again! They get 10 stars out of 5 ( maybe actually 15 out of 5)!

Married, with five children. We take all our eye care to Archdale. Two in the family have eye problems. The entire staff is fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and it is a one stop eye care facility, from simple annual eye exams, to contact lens appointments, to health care for the eyes. Their facility is top notch with all the latest technology advancements.

They take all our insurances, from VSP, to Medicare, to the health coverage, Kaiser. They move you from station to station, starting with the paperwork and insurance coverage, letting us know right then what the costs will be. The front staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Then they take you to the room with all the equipment tests, including Optimap, which I highly recommend.

Then you go to the exam room which is comfortable and up to date, followed by the detailed meeting with the Doc. Then if prescription is needed you are taken to their room with a wide selection of frames with all the options with lenses. The staff in this section are also very friendly, knowledgeable, and let you know right there what the insurance covers, and what the total bill will be. I recommend Archdale.

2 stars instead of 1 because I liked the doctor I saw. Otherwise I had a very unpleasant experience both times I visited. The office staff do not show much "heart" as their catch phrase implies. While waiting in the lobby, I had to listen to the ladies behind the front desk complain to each other about multiple patients and on my first visit, a very upset customer came in frustrated about a total lack of communication regarding picking up his glasses.

Both times after my appointment it was very clear multiple staff members were confused about my insurance benefits and two of them actually argued in front of me over it. On my second visit, one of them actually said to my face about another staff member who told me something incorrect, "he doesn't know what he's talking about". When I tried to pay my $2 copay in cash, they said they didn't know how to do a cash transaction and passed me back and forth between staff members and seemed annoyed I was even there. The unprofessional behavior in front of customers/patients and miscommunication between staff is unbelievable at this business.

I have worked for this clinic for a short 2 weeks. I have worked for 2 other clinics in the past. These doctors are the most thorough I have ever worked for. The measurements and pre-testing are extremely precise and thorough as well. The office manager is present, involved, and 100% dedicated. My co-workers are kind, willing to drop anything to help, and love this industry.

My training has been A LOT but my trainers are excellent and truly understand the anatomy and industry in general therefore producing excellent, precise, well rounded, technicians. ALL of these things matter when chosing an optometrist and I would recommend anyone including all of my loved ones to receive their eye care at Archdale Eyecare with any one or all of their 4 optometrists

I wouldn't go anywhere else for contacts/glasses! Dr. Archdale is incredibly professional, kind, and knowledgeable - he never rushes appointments & ensures you have the correct prescription. Clara was also so sweet and helpful at my last visit and took a lot of time to help me get fitted for glasses and order lenses. 10/10 would recommend!

Everyone was perfect right up to the point the optician met me as I was coming out of the exam room. I told her I usually buy my glasses online. She totally ignored that comment and proceeded to show me glasses. I asked her if it was alright to bring my daughter back as she has a more critical eye. Again no response, so I went to bring her back anyway.

Once I found a pair, I asked her how much they cost, she replied $400. I asked her 3 times, my daughter asked her as well, the answer was always the sane, $400. That's a bit much for me as I'm on a fixed income, but my daughter said she'd buy them for me. In the end the bill was over $1000! I thought the gal upfront had quoted me wrong, as I initially called to find out the cost of the eye exam.

This was on a Friday, so the following Monday I called back. The eye exam was the price quoted but the optician left off all the "extras" with the glasses. There's no way I could afford that so I asked then to stop the order. They didn't do anything about it until my daughter called them. This kind of practice is downright deceitful in my opinion. Although I thought the receptionists were professional, the eye doc was great, I will never go back because of the opticians deceitful practices.

Awesome doctors, wonderful staff & the coolest manager! The office is short handed right now, as is everywhere during these times. Despite the staffing issues, the employees remain helpful, patient, & accommodating. Quality eyewear at very competitive pricing. You won't find better vision care anywhere in the area!

WOW - all I can say is that I have been patient there for 20 years and things have really gone south. I tried to schedule an eye exam in 2020 with dr achdale but he was booked solid for months (thanks covid) so I saw another doctor at the north office. good exam but bad Rx! I got my glasses with the new Rx and fell twice before realizing it was the glasses!.

So back I went - I needed glasses - no appts were available so I asked them to just put my previous Rx back in. All good until I went back to have my sunglass lenses put in. They used a lab - and the lab never seemed to get it right. There were distortions and they were worthless to wear. After 3 failures (!) and no sunglasses all summer, It was recommended I see Dr Archdale for a new Rx which I did.

He was pretty annoyed that I had used a prior Rx for the sunglasses and that there had been so much trouble with them. His attitude made me feel like an errant child. Not his usual self. But I got a new Rx in September 2021 from that visit and just went in to have that Rx put in my regular glasses. I was told by Renee' that the manager was out that day but I had cost them a lot of money with my sunglass issue and that I should come and pick up my frames - they no longer wanted me as a patient. WOW. well, ok, but other people should know - if there are any issues with your glasses, they just want you gone. Such a change.

From beginning to end I felt so welcome here! I was looking for a place that could help me find glasses that actually look good on me, and this is the place! Dr. Perry explained everything more thoroughly than anyone ever has - I have had eye problems my entire life so this is really saying something! Tiana and Daria helped me find the perfect frames for me, and I am so excited to get them soon. I highly, highly recommend Archdale!

Doctor explained different options, but was not pushy since the issue isn't time sensitive. Front staff and technician were pleasant and efficient.

Dr. Bisbee and staff are super nice and super sweet and willing to accommodate you in any way they can. My only complaint is that the facility does not carry budget frames, only brand names. That never sits well for me, but I know what to do next time. Yes, I would recommend this place.

Dr. Archdale is both a kind and caring individual AND a knowledgable, competent, skilled doctor -- a rare find in the medical community. He uses the latest equipment to not only evaluate your vision, but he also takes into account the physical well-being of the whole person. I always leave his office feeling confident that my vision has been thoroughly evaluated and corrected with excellence, and if there were other concerns, they had been addressed to the full.

He is patient to explain everything and answer all questions. Yesterday, Louisa did all of my pre-screening. She was super sweet, efficient, and did her job with excellence. Because of the care for their patients, an annual check-up at this office will likely take close to 90 minutes (for both a vision check and a contact lens evaluation). Relax and enjoy being cared for. :)

It's been a little over a year since I had a botched eye surgery and it was time to get the eyes checked and maybe some new glasses. It took about a month to get an appointment here. They also are following Covid protocol. When I went in for my appointment there was some paperwork to fill out that took about ten minutes, then insurance etc. I was taken back rather quickly and on to the exam.

I was real happy to fine out during the exam that with some new glasses my vision would be better. I was really happy having dealt with some real hacks last year but that's another story. So on to pick out frames and customize the lenses. The insurance I have is VSP pretty decent but never covers progressive lenses, scratch resistant lenses etc.

But my vision was so much better I can wait for my new pair of glasses. Too bad I have to wait two weeks to get them. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. A really nice office and a nice selections of frames to chose from.

I have a very large social media presence so I am always cautious about leaving a bad review. I have to feel very strongly to do so. And in this case, I do. I went into a hot office for a very long wait. The doctor offered me a sample of a new kind of contact she suggested before I ordered my normal brand. BUT it was going to take a month just to get a sample. i said okay but after getting home was like -- I just need to order.

I called back and said please just let me stay in the same contact I'm in. Just give me my new prescription. They said no. I had to come in for a NEW fitting. I asked them -- what was the hour and a half I was there for suffering in the heat of the office, and during this pandemic for? I reminded them that they actually did my exam in the same lenses.

They had my current lense on hand, but insisted my prescription was held captive and I could not get in for a week for this new fitting. I then told them I had an eye infection, could I at least go ahead and see someone just for that -- as a separate problem? No. No one can help me. They wee too busy. They didn't even offer to talk to the doctor or make a suggestion about the infection.

I finally got them to say they'd give me my prescription if they had my old official prescription from the past doctor. I'm not sure why that was needed since my exam was done in my current contacts, but I agreed. I had the doctor fax the old prescription on his letterhead but.you guessed it. They still wouldn't release my prescription.

What happened to safety, I asked? Why would you need me to come in again, to try on this lense? I asked. They said because they didn't want me to waste my money if I didn't like the new prescription. I told them I'd take that risk and even sign a form. I've worn these contacts ten years. I'm going to be fine. They still refused.

I asked to talk to the doctor who owns the office. I was told that he's not in and you can just call back. I've never had such an issue in decades of wearing contacts. I've never had my prescription held hostage for a second fitting. I asked if they were billing my insurance for this new fitting. They said they already had. This was confusing.

They already billed for it? They had no concern for safety AT ALL as clearly avoiding extra visits that are completely unnecessary would be frowned on right now. There is a pandemic. That's why we all wore masked in their hot office. They also didn't care about my infected eye but they were obsessed with a new fitting. I am still baffled.

What did they achieve by treating me this way? And what is the obsession with this other fitting? I wondered if they really told the doctor I wanted to do as she said I could, and stay in the contacts she did my exam with. I wondered a lot of things. None of them good.

Broke my glasses and needed a new pair of them so I called the eye doctor. 30 days to why in. Prescription is 13 months old (so expired) and I ask for a copy so I can go somewhere else. Staff acts shocked that I might want something earlier than 6-8 weeks so that I can drive and then proceeds to have serious attitude. They eventually hide me my prescription but wow! Let's make sure everyone knows it's expired with some yellow highlighting and black marker. Too bad use to be good and I like kids but more expensive, slower time, and attitude. No way!

I have been coming to this office at least twice a year for probably 15 years and I have never had a bad experience here. Dr Bauer is the best eye doctor that I have had and is an expert at getting just the right prescription. The staff are all very professional and knowledgeable. I seldom have to wait more that 5-10 minutes for my appointment. Archdale stands by their work and will change things if they aren't just right for you.

We went here because our optometrist moved here and we liked him. Still do. However the rest of the staff is slooooowwww. We spent over 2 hours there. I did have to pick out glasses but that was maybe 30 minutes. 1.5 hours for a check up is a bit much. I preferred our optometrist's previous location where we could be in and out within an hour.

Dr. Bauer and his staff are very professional and thorough. I don't feel rushed during the exam and they explain everything in detail. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Dr. Bauer patiently addresses all of my questions and concerns and I know I am in great hands. I highly recommend them.

Went here for the first time, looking for frames. The staff was busy with other customers, so I looked around and then stood around for at least 10-15 minutes with no one even acknowledging my presence or at least saying something, anything, like 'we'll be with you shortly' so I left. It's not a big place at all, and to totally ignore customers, not just when they walk through the door but after they've been there awhile, is not good customer relations. I emailed them, letting them know about my experience and got no response. That says a lot about how little they value new customers.

My optometry experience at Archdale Eyecare over the past several years (7) has been nothing but pleasant, informative and easy. I have seen them for both contacts and glasses. Year after year the service and care I receive from this establishment keeps me coming back. Both locations are equally nice. I have been seen by Dr. Archdale as well as each of his associates. Knowledgeable staff, lots of variety in eyeware to choose from.

Have never had to wait. There is a dr always on-call for emergencies and they work with children as well. I also appreciate the new, electronic appointment confirmation system they have put in place. Very helpul. Highly recommend!

I have been a client at Archdale for two years now (contacts). My first prescription was great, I could finally see! The following year when it was time to have my eyes checked they changed my prescription. I had to go in for THREE follow ups to try to get contacts that worked. Not only were the new ones no good, I just plain couldn't see in some that they gave me!

They finally told me that I was just going to have to live with "the best of the worst" which is what I have now. Things are still blurry, I squint at computer screens and street signs and my eyes are constantly dry. I finally caved and got glasses (with another Dr.) FINALLY I can see!

Our whole family has been using Archdale for vision for the last 3 years. The quality of the eye exams have been spot on with correct product and prescriptions released each time. The billing and office staff go the extra mile to work with insurance to clearly understand and use your benefits correctly and let you know clearly what is covered and not covered.

Their selection of frames is very good, and is priced very fairly. Each of their doctors take a real interest in you as a person and your family and work hard to maintain that respect and partnership. This is an excellent practice to take children who need eye care to, because they work to put the child at ease and then find the best glasses for them, as well as offer many safe guards for fixes and replacements if needed.
