Sleep is an integral part of human existence. We spend a third of our lives sleeping. Sleep influences our physical, psychological and social well-being. About 70 million Americans suffer from a sleep disturbance which may be comprised of a broad range of problems. Many sleep disorders cause an increase in daytime sleepiness and an increase in road traffic accidents.
A sleep study is a diagnostic test that a physician may use to determine if you have a sleep disorder, what type of disorder, and the potential severity of that disorder. What many people may not realize is that there are several different types of sleep studies used for various sleep disorders. Polysomnography (PSG) is an overnight diagnostic sleep study conducted in the sleep lab. During the study many measurements are taken, including brain activity, stages of sleep, blood oxygen, heart rate, and air flow.
We offer a variety of treatment options for all sleep disorders at our facility. Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) can be treated with a variety of different therapies, depending on the severity of the apnea. The gold standard for treating Sleep Apnea effectively is CPAP Therapy. PAP (Positive Airway Pressure) therapy is the gold standard for the treatment of sleep apnea.
Insomnia can be a very frustrating, long-term condition, leaving some patients feeling like there is no relief in sight. The National Institute of Health has endorsed this therapy. CBTi focuses on working to change the mental and behavioral factors which perpetuate insomnia and its effects. Patients who undergo CBTi can expect to meet with their sleep specialist on a weekly basis.

I cant say enough about how much I appreciated the care I received with Dr. Webb. He took the time to listen and understand my sleep history, my struggle, and how much effort I have put into trying to address my insomnia. I came away with a solid treatment plan and high hopes that I can address it and improve my sleep. Very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr Webb to friends.

I have seen many doctors in my life. Dr Webb is literally my favorite. Why? He genuinely listened, inquired, was patient, no sense of hurry, and was perceived to really care. He addressed issues that weren't even his concern. I felt so good after my appointment (rare) and new I had not only visited with a good doctor.but a good person as well. This is the way you take care of your patients. Cheers to you Sir.
