Dr. Michael S. Levy, Founder and Medical Director of the Center for Addiction Medicine, has spent over 40 years in the medical field dedicating himself to the treatment of alcohol and drug dependencies. In 1995, he established the first medical practice in Nevada specializing in addiction medicine. He then incorporated the Center for Addiction Medicine in 1998 to provide a full range of services to patients in need of confidential, individualized treatment for alcoholism and other drug addictions.

Center for Addiction Medicine's mission is to help our clients and their family members find hope, strength, and ultimately a successful recovery. Addiction is; a primary, chronic, progressive disease of brain reward, motivation, memory and related circuitry. Center for Addiction Medicine looks at addiction as any other disease that needs intervention.
Comprehensive Substance Abuse Assessment services are provided by our substance abuse clinicians to determine a client's extent of drug or alcohol use. Assessment serves to define the nature of the problem, determine the appropriate DSM V diagnosis, if appropriate, and develop specific individualized recommendations.
Dr. Michael S. Levy is a qualified expert witness in district and family courts. He has extensive experience in criminal and civil matters with extensive trial experience. Board certified in Addiction Medicine, Michael S. Levy, D.O., DFASAM has more than 36 years experience in treating alcohol and drug dependencies.

Doctor Levy and therapyst Jane are amazing! Everyone in the office starting from the front desk staff to Dr. Levy and the therapist. I had never been to a rehab facility before, this would be my first time and I'm so thrilled I came here! I love the group meetings and my one on one with my therapist Jane. My husband and I are very great full we found center for addiction medicine. I totally recommend this center if you want to do OP (outpatient) rehabilitation program.

Dr. Levy is great, but doesn't do much besides give inspirational speeches which are accessible on the internet. Also, I was kicked out of a session for "being high" despite acting NORMAL and not getting a urine test. I had caffeine that day so I was more talkative, and my drug of choice aren't stimulants. The counselor could have told me to be quiet for the rest of the session, despite having a relapse.
