Excellent service and medical expertise. I didn't like my brand new glasses prescribed and filled by another doctor. Dr H found that the prescription was wrong and had many useful suggestions for all aspects of my eye care. Leslie, the optician, is also very helpful and knowledgeable.

I am so fortunate to have found Dr. Chang and Connie. They are kind, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable. I am a better person for the time I spent in therapy here and can't recommend this place enough.

I see Dr. Chang and Stefanie for Vision Therapy and it has been a great experience. Dr. Chang is remarkably empathetic and has felt supportive through other health concerns. And starting Vision Therapy has changed my LIFE. I love Stefanie and vision therapy itself is fun and so helpful!

Dr. Chang is simply amazing. She is a very attentive listener and so knowledgeable in her practice. I really feel that all of my vision concerns (and other related symptoms) are acknowledged and addressed through thoughtful vision therapy and my glasses rx. Dr. Amy Chang is excellent in diagnosing light sensitivity related vision issues. I've worked with Dr. Chang twice and enjoyed meeting her and especially her gentle nature. I feel confident with the quality of her work. She is helping me with glasses and contacts; we plan to work on vision therapy, as well. My optometrist, Dr. Richard Cross at Boulder Vision Associates, referred me for vision therapy to Dr. Hutchins long ago. (She has an excellent reputation among the vision doc community.) The the offices are peaceful, inviting and it's pleasant listening to the staff make calls out to other patients, whilst we while sit in the waiting area.

The eyewear buyer has an excellent aesthetic; the optician is graceful and very good at knowing just which frames are worth trying on. She has a good eye for what will work on your face & the coloring of your hair and skin. It makes it so easy to feel confident in your selection. The only true complaint I have is that this organization does not accept insurance - plus the price on frames and lenses is beyond means of even the above average person, in my opinion.

If you are going to get your care here, do not waste your money on purchasing a vision policy - Simply put it aside in a savings account for your eyes. Today, vision insurance is generally just a prepaid services plan masquerading as "insurance ". and a few companies control the entire commercial food chain, meaning that the consumer has very few choices in eyewear (all brands owned by the holding company), then lock the consumer into a few, limited optometry options.

For the doctors who continue to accept insurance. The insurance companies take your prepaid vision services money, then turn around and behave in a predatory manner toward your independent doctors. To be forthright: it's driving them out of business. I enjoy my experience here - but again, this business caters to the wealthy. If you can afford it. This is a great place.

I am extremely impressed with Niwot Eyecare and Vision Therapy! The front desk actually got me an appointment the day I called, Dr. Chang is wonderfully welcoming and professional. The office is so clean and friendly, and it was truly a great experience. I will be a regular patient from this point on, and will be recommending Niwot Eyecare to all of my family and friends!
