At MANA, we are squarely focused on delivering quality neonatal care to our NICU patients; a commitment that guides the principles and programs of our clinical practice. We believe in strengthening families and empowering parents to engage in the care of their babies. We prioritize quality improvement programs, in order to reduce complication rates and improve outcomes. We participate in education initiatives and train the next generation of medical professionals; and we invest in cutting-edge research projects.
Services
Our experienced team of board-certified neonatologists and advanced neonatal practitioners are on-site at all times. They are the care leaders in the NICU. Many members of our clinical staff conduct research in collaboration with our research staff; a highly-trained group of research scientists, clinical coordinators and technical support staff.
For more than 25 years, MidAtlantic Neonatology Associates (MANA) has been providing comprehensive care to premature and critically-ill infants from all over the state of New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and southern New York State. We have a large and experienced team of board certified neonatologists, advanced neonatal practitioners, critical care nurses, and support staff that enables us to care for neonates with a wide array of medical, congenital and surgical disorders. We work closely with our colleagues in maternal-fetal medicine, at Goryeb Children's Hospital, to ensure exceptional care for infants even before they are born.
Families have a choice when deciding where their baby should be born; a decision that can be difficult. This is especially true for families considering the possibility that their baby might be born prematurely or need special medical care after birth. The March of Dimes reports that 1 in 10 infants will need neonatal intensive care, prompting many families to consider hospitals with highly-regarded NICUs.
The art and science of neonatal intensive care is evolving rapidly and medical advances in this field are often largely dependent on education, research and collaboration. MANA has a robust commitment to research and education; activities that we believe will shape the future of neonatal medicine and improve patient outcomes.
