Dr. Schore was completely honest and gave his professional opinion. He did not push medications or treatments on me but did tell me why he suggested the treatments so I fully understood his treatment plan. I highly recommend. I have seen people that do not like his personality but being in EMS for years, he means no harm nor disrespect and I absolutely love his demeanor! Straight forward and to the point!

Dr Leventhal and his staff are the best. I was completely terrified to have my age 50 screening. I unfortunately heard too many shared colonoscopy prep horror stories, add in my own fear of the procedure itself. Honestly I have never been so happy to be so wrong. The whole process was painless, add in the best nap of your life. It was so nice to step away from the far too busy, hustle and bustle of the huge hospitals in New Haven.

Dr Shore has an AWFUL personality! He will treat you with NO respect! I was under the impression that I was talking to someone at a bar. For a doctor he had no manners. He had this paper notepad that he was pretending to write on. I looked at his notes and it looked as a 1st grader scribbles. I am sure not even the doctor knew what he wrote. I was very offended by it.
He was not knowledgeable at all. I was talking to him about the side effects of aspirin and I could clearly tell that he had no idea of what I was talking about. He wanted me out of the office in two minutes. He was only interested in the money from the consultation and not in helping me. He was very pessimist and very negative. He said " I want you to be prepared for the worst, if the other doctor could not figure out your problem I am not going to be able to fix it either.
But if you want I will do the endoscopy anyway." There is no way I am going to allow a person with this kind of attitude and lack of professionalism to touch me. It was a waste of time and money. I felt extremely insulted by his demeanor and from this whole experience. Be aware. Stay away from Dr. Anthony Shore from Naugatuck Valley Gastroenterology practice in Prospect, CT.Dr h

I've read several negative reviews regarding Dr. Leventhal, but I don't agree with them. I met him for the first time yesterday when I had an appointment for a pre-surgery consult and he was very welcoming, explained the procedure in detail, answered my questions and walked out with me. The only concern I had, which is why I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is that my medical record contained erroneous information and I'm not sure how it was compromised. I requested that the incorrect information be deleted immediately.
