I had an amazing experience at Florida Vision Institute. Dr. Allen And the staff were knowledgeable and great to work with. I had two cataracts removed and replaced with new lenses with no complication. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for laser eye surgery to check them out.

Outstanding! Dr Allen is extraordinary along with all the staff. Shamals and Sheneaka front desk, are so full of personality, so caring, so nice. Everyone loves them. Highly recommend this office.

Absolutely would recommend this vision institute! The staff and doctors are extremely nice and make you feel welcome and comfortable. Very knowledgeable! I see Dr. Brockman for all my check ups but have had my Lasik done by them as well. Was the best decision I ever made and the best office!

The Florida Vison Institute easily deserves a rating of 10 in every way. Staff members are very well-organized, as well as personable and cheerful. Wait time is always within reason. Most importantly, the doctors, particularly Dr. Marc Brockman, are well-trained and knowledgeable. Dr. Brockman always takes time to explain diagnoses, procedures and solutions.

The 1st thing I want to say is Dr. Walid Mangal is great. He had been keeping an eye out for swelling around the retina in my right eye. The problem I have with this office is I owe $918 after 3 appts. I called billing after I got the 1st bill $324.22 last June 2021 and was told it was an error and they would take care of it. 7 months later Jan 2022 I get another bill with that appt and my Sept 2021 appt on the bill.

Now Owing $477.67 It wasn't until completing my 3rd appt that billing informed me the Dr is out of network. This was also when I learned their billing system had been down for 6 months. The office said they would talk to the manager and get back to me and never did. I called the front office to tell them about this and they said they didn't know the Dr was out of network.

I just got the 3rd bill for my Jan 2022 appt with all 3 appt charges on the statement. I called again and this time was told "There is nothing they can do. It is my responsibility to know if they are out of network." They way the insurance company tells you to confirm that the Dr is in network is to call the office which I did April 2021 when I began seeing this Dr.

If I had known that in June 2021, when they said they would take care of it I would not have made the next 2 appts. Now I owe $918.33. This is unacceptable customer service and I will not be going there again.

The staff on the front desk welcome me as a new patient and helped me sign into their record system. The medical assistants were both pleasant and knowledgeable while performing their part of the examination. The Dr. Explained his findings and further treatments plans using words that I could understand.

It was my first visit to Florida Vision Institute. It was luck that I went there because they accept my insurance. From reception to assistants to the Doctor, everyone was kind and professional. It was a very positive experience. Let's face it when we are going to doctors we not going for fun so when we are greeted with smiles and pleasantries, it puts you at ease and makes the experience less stressful. I plan to continue to use them for eye care. Highly recommend.

The office receptionist are very confusing when given information about which type of insurance you need to see the eye doctor. I rather visit another optometrist, that my vision insurance covers and there are no hidden fees.

This is the spot to go. From the front desk to the Dr., nothing but professionalism. Danny and Dr. Lima were so compassionate to me. Dr Lima took time to explain exactly what is going on with me. Had an eye injury (this is my regular office that I see) and requested to speak with my optician/opthamologist about a recommendation for either a visit or eye drops for my eye injury. The front desk tells me they won't give me a recommendation unless I am seen in person. But then tells me I can't make an appointment until Monday (It's 3pm on a Friday).

I let her know that my vision is being affected by the injury. This business does not care about your well being. The office staff has repeatedly been rude to me on both the Florida vision and the Optique sides on several occasions. I know firsthand that ERs are not equipped well to deal with vision/eye issues. Find a different office that will actually take care of you.
