This hospital has the best greatest food around for any hospital. The food here is not like any hospital food I've ever had. I come here to the cafe cafeteria just for lunch. People say when I suggest the hospital for lunch, what? But after they experience the food, they are hooked too! The cafe has hot charbroiled burgers and chicken breasts as well as hot Ruben sandwiches, so tasty.

Get this the prices are way cheap, like for a big fat burger it's $5.95 add fries for about $1.00. The staff here has always been friendly from the front desk to the operators on the phone. But get over here to try the food! Check in thru the front desk. yes, masks still required, till you're eating!

I wouldn't even give them 1 star, but am forced to leave at least 1 to leave a review. I also only take the time to leave negative reviews if my experience somewhere was truly bad. I went in for stomach pain and was told it would be 1-2 hour wait. They did blood work and vitals as soon as I checked in. I waited 4 1/2 hours and could not wait anymore.

I needed to lay down. It was also freezing in there, and I had a fever. I asked the lady in the front if she knew how much longer, and she said she didn't know. She said that there were people in there that had been waiting 6 hours (why she told me 1-2 hrs when I arrived, idk). I asked if I come back tomorrow, can they just use the blood work they took, and she said no.

I asked if I was going to be charged for the blood if I leave, she said no. I left, and went to a different Urgent care. 30 days later, I get a bill in the mail for the blood work. I called to dispute, and they refuse to work with me at all. I will never go there again, and will make sure I tell everyone I know to go to Renown.

Negative 100000 stars. Missing my grandson being born due to their insane rules. Two support people instead of 3, because support persons 1 and 2 couldn't have covid, but that third person surely does! How about testing the support people instead of robbing the woman giving birth of her 3rd person and robbing (in this case)the other grandparent of one of the most extraordinary, irreplaceable experiences they could ever have?

This is my 2nd experience with labor and delivery here and you couldn't pay me to deliver at this hospital. If you enjoy having absolutely NO say in how you deliver then this is the hospital for you. Tear your birth plan up and toss it in the trash because they do not care one bit about what you want. They don't even allow video or take pictures of the birth. Think about that for a minute. Only one reason why. That certainly instills a ton of confidence in their skills. Run, don't walk away from this place!

If I have an Emergency take me to Renown. This was the worst experience I have ever been exposed to in an ER. I drive my friend to the ER as he thinks he may be having a heart attack but didn't want to go by ambulance. We get to the ER and I let them know he may be having a cardiac episode, instead of taking him back when you could obviously see something is wrong they want him to sit and register mean while he passes out and they are still worried about registration.

I make a comment and say how ridiculous it is and his significant other can give them the information, he needs to be taken back so then the door lady goes and tells security. They finally get him back and they were extremely rude to him no patience and he's telling them how scared he is. In the meantime they tell us there can only be 1 person back there.

No problem I offer to leave, as I'm walking out of the room I see they have a security guard standing outside. I have worked in ERs and I haven't ever seen anyone treated that way let have to call security because your friend may be having a cardiac episode and you express the fact that they need to be taken back. Horrible ER.

My 79yo father was brought in by ambulance last week because he collapsed. He has been having severe diarrhea and was severely dehydrated. 12hrs later they sent him home unable to walk on his own and with Imodium. No IV fluids were given to him. 2 days later he was brought in by ambulance again and was septic and very low blood pressure. This is not ok. If they would've taken care of him the first time this wouldn't have happened! What is happening to our healthcare system?!

I have been to this hospital's ER several times in the past 12 years, they always help me. They could be faster, ofcourse, what hospital ER is quick? I have been seen for Migraines, Gallbladder Attacks, Flank Pain, While i was pregnant they saw me for my son not moving a whole bunch that day (he was just tired ), I gave birth to my son here, i originally was trying to do a Natural Birth, but after my son getting stuck in my birthing canal, he and i both starting to send out D cells, I had to (quickly) move into an emergency C-section.

The whole team was GREAT. They all were more than helpful, caring, aswell as calming aswell! The actual staff cared about the people they see. So please dont be angry with them and dont take it personally if things dont go your way, be angry with the protocol!

I have always had good care here. I had two babies and the labor and delivery is excellent. I also went to the emergency room feeling horrible and was in so much pain I could barely walk and they got me in pretty quick for how busy they were, they were very good and efficient running all the tests I needed to figure out what was wrong, they made my diagnosis and wrote me a prescription and gave me some medicine and I started feeling better later that night and even more so by the next day.

The lady running the cat scan Machine was also very thorough and explained everything well and everyone was very friendly. I loved that they got me In and out as quick as they could so I could get home to my babies and Gave me excellent care. Thank you!

A few weeks ago I brought a friend to the ED for care. My friend received great care from everyone in the ED including the hospitalist (Dr. Sallabery) and the med/onc staff. As a visitor, I was so impressed with the cosmetics of the facility: the bridge from the hospital to Sierra was so beautiful and the ED was clean as a whistle. Everyone was very kind and I was so impressed. Thank you for all you do.

My Dad went to the ER and had to wait for 2 hours just to get a bed in the hallway. Everybody was courteous but very slow. Once seen by medical staff they were efficient and attentive. But had to wait in excessive pain in the lobby. Lots of patients leaving but no patients entering. Not sure why it took so long to be seen as it was 11:30 on a weekday. Didn't they just expand their ER?

The absolute rudest and un human staff in the entire universe. Not on just one occasion. This is the second time I brought my dad in to be seen. They need lawsuit after lawsuit brought against them! My dad is very sick, and we can't get no answers. The hospital referred him to a specialist who can see him on March 19th. He won't be alive if he has to wait that long. What a joke! I know no one cares about the well being of my dad but I do!

Tracy in labor and delivery was the most kind and useful nurse I have ever seen. She made sure my wife and I were very comfortable during our stay while waiting on the arrival of our daughter. On our second day there she even requested to have my wife as a patient again and even stayed past her shift to meet our little girl. If you see this Tracy thank you so much for going above and beyond for us! -The Smith Family

The worst experience. Rude and uncaring nurses. They treated me like I was trying to get over on them. I was told by the Emts that I could get a ride home through the ER. I was told no way by the ER staff. They told me I could wait until morning in the waiting room for the bus! I just moved here and Don't know anyone. I finally got a taxi voucher and the triage nurse (Ken) I think told me 3 times not to expect this in the future, this isn't California.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hospital. I will be forever thankful to them for saving my life. As a nurse we're always the worst patients or very critical of everyone else providing care. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was amazing at their job. The hospitality was unlike any other hospital I had been to. I thank God every day that he put these wonderful Nurses, doctors, phlebotomists, dietary and sanitation personnel in my life. I have to personally highlight Nurse Barbara, Carrie, Dr. Perry, and Dr. Null for keeping sane through it all.

Was in town on a business trip for a few days, and left all my medicines at home. Started to have some pretty wicked withdrawal pains on the fourth night on the road, thought I could push through them, but ended up just heading to the emergency room here late one night. They were more than helpful, very understanding, got me a dose of what I needed to get me through the night, and a prescription to fill the next day. They really got me out of a tight jam and I am very appreciative of the emergency room staff.
