Jordan-Young Institute

My total knee replacement has been extremely successful! Dr. Robinson did an amazing job and my PA, Mandy Quinn, (the brains of the operation - slight pun intended) has been absolutely four dot oh with pre-op prep and post-op follow up. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with! Thank you so much guys! :)

1st the good. Dr. Vincent did an awesome job on my anterior cervical discectomy (neck surgery) & would highly recommend him for this procedure. The bad is office communication & returning calls. I still, as of this posting, have an issue over $112.96. I have repeatedly asked for detailed billing on several occasions yet only get a summary from billing.

The same person in billing seems to be the issue (with an attitude). I have asked twice for someone else to call so we can settle this matter. yet no call. My medical bills including insurance have exceeded $60, 000 (all paid in full except this) since 2020, so I don't think I am not being unreasonable able asking for detailed billing.

I was recommended to Jordan-Young Institute by a well respected Physical Therapist, particularly D. Gondusky. Jessica Tanner is part of his team, along with Ricky, and I have never felt more comfortable and "heard" in a physicians office. They are attentive, answer all my questions while never feeling rushed. I highly recommend this Jessica and her team!

I have seen Sean Wren a number of times and he is fantastic. He listens very well and asks you questions to help make sure you understand exactly what the diagnosis and the treatment will consist of. His staff is great and they are all very friendly. I do not like going to the doctor but I have no problem going to see Sean. I feel so much better and I truly want to thank Sean and his staff.

I know that there is a high demand for doctors including orthopedists. I was referred to the Jordan-Young Institute which appeared online very professional, with a good repetition. However, my experience didn't measure up in several areas. 1) When making the appointment I was informed that my X-rays in my online medical folder would probably be available.

Since I didn't have the X-ray films, I followed up another day to confirm availability of my X-rays - I called multiple times, placed on hold for 20-30 minutes each time, finally each time leaving a measure for a call back to request confirmation that my X-rays were available online. I received several call backs but each time there was no confirmation of X-ray availability. 2) As directed, I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment, for no need, as I was registered and paid my co-pay within 5 minutes, wasting the rest of the time waiting for my appointment time. 3) I was taken back less than 10 minutes after my 1:30 appointment time which is very understandable. However, I was told I had to have X-rays.

I informed them that my X-rays were online but they told me they couldn't use them, so I had to have a new set of X-rays taken. 4) Subsequently I waited in the patient room to be seen for about an hour before the doctor entered. Dr. Gondusky was competent and provided care instructions for my knee pain. BOTTOM LINE: Given patient demand, it seems that the Jordan-Young Institute has outgrown their standard efficient operational process resulting in significant wait times and limited responsiveness causing high levels of patient frustration.

So if you have an appointment with Jordan-Young Institute, don't expect to receive effective communication before your appointment and be prepared to wait a long time to be seen by a doctor (my time spent there was 2:43 minutes for a simple knee evaluation).

Best orthopedic institution I've ever been referred to! Highly recommended! Dr. Griffin and his team, PA Travis McLaughlin and secretaries have performed flawlessly! My shoulder replacement has been made as comfortable as possible by everyone associated with me. If you need any kind of orthopedic needs, this is the place!

I am pleased overall with this practice! PA Travis and staff has made my experience a great one! They are very patient with me and answered all of my questions in a timely manner so far. Looking forward to nothing less during follow-up visits. I will refer Dr. Griffin and his team to others!

Nurse Practitioner Angela Rivera was this time and always has been the ultimate professional in her position with Jordan-Young Institute. She takes the time to listen to and answer all questions in a very informative manner. I thank her for her attention to detail. She is an asset to Jordan-Young Institute. My procedure was a total revision of the right knee, which was severely infected.

Until I was presented with this option, I wasn't even aware that there was anything other than standard knee replacement surgery. At this point, I am about 7 weeks out, and for the most part, my knee feels much better than I had anticipated.

Sean Wren is a great listener who puts his patient's needs first. He helped me to figure out additional options other than surgery. Would definitely recommend him to others!

Drs. Bonner and Hoobler were absolutely exeptional in every way. They made sure to explain all details and answer all questions about the procedure, executed the procedure flawlessly, and made sure that PT and rehab were on track the entire recovery. Every interaction with their office and staff was professional, courteous, and timely. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

I have been going to the Jordan Young Institute for the last 5 years. Appointments are always on time and treatment is top notch. Dr. Jordan, Dr. Midas, and Dr. Horn are fantastic doctors.

Abby Hoobler is an awesome caregiver! She is attentive and takes time to ensure all my questions are answered. She makes recommendations without being legalistic. I'm grateful for her role in my care.

Neil was really great! He updated me on my last MRI. He put my worries to rest regarding any possible injury I had incurred while physically caring for my mom during her Hospice a month after my surgery. He also gave me specific instructions and guidelines to follow when I go the the gym. He is an assest to your practice!

Amy is great takes the time you need Dr. Bonner is the best, amazing in every area he covers. Unfortunately I consider myself a frequent flyer from Army injuries and He has done magic each time. I don't go anywhere but Jordan Young Institute and Dr. Bonner for knees and shoulders.

Travis is AMAZING! She's knowledgeable and very compassionate. She explains things with clarity, can predict my reactions and has a calming demeanor. Dr. Griffin, amazing himself, is lucky to have her.

I am so glad I was referred to Dr Justin Griffin, and his team at Jordan-Young Institute, for my shoulder replacement! They are awesome! Travis McLaughlin, PA has been taking great care of me post-surgery. When I'm ready for my other shoulder, you know I'll be going to Dr Griffin, Travis, and the rest of the J-Y team.

Dr Laurent and Dr Wren are very informative, they are great at explaining things in detail to make sure I understand. Dr Wren reviewed my X-rays and recommended surgery, I was very nervous and second guessing the procedure. Dr Laurent sat down with me explaining the surgery in detail and answered every question I had. Also Amanda is a great asset she is very friendly and knowledgeable, each time I've spoke to her she has been very helpful at resolving my issues. I've been recommending this group to everyone.

I am not sure if the experience of service and professionalism from the Jordan-Young Institute could be any better. Keeping me informed with precise written and verbal instructions was absolutely wonderful. The testing, surgery and my follow-up appointments were very informative and through. Angela Rivera NP, was without question, understanding, compassionate and wealth of knowledge helping me to continue my road to recovery. After 5 weeks post-op, one would need to look closely for and signs of scaring from my total knee replacement.
