Skin testing can determine allergies to animal dander, dust and dust mites, insects, fabrics, foods, latex, mold and mildew, and grass, tree, or weed pollens. Skin tests are done by placing little drops of each suspected allergen on your forearm then lightly pricking the skin with a plastic applicator to break the top layer; also sometimes small needles actually inject the allergen directly under the skin.

An allergen is a usually harmless substance capable of triggering a response that starts in the immune system and results in an allergic reaction. For instance, if you have an allergy to pollen, your immune system* identifies pollen as an invader or allergen. The immune system responds by releasing chemicals that typically cause symptoms in the nose, throat, eyes, ears, skin or roof of the mouth. In addition to pollen, other common allergens include: dust mites, animal dander, mold, medications, insect venom and various foods.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Zevy Landman. He was the only allergist of the many I visited who was able to identify the aspirin allergy that I developed for the first time in my late 20s. He looked at pictures of my allergic reaction and advised me that the symptoms clearly indicated aspirin allergy. He then provided me a lit of aspirin-free medications, since many over the counter medicines like Advil and regular Alka Seltzer contain aspirin.

Since then, I've never had that same allergic reaction again. I visited 5 other allergists before Dr. Zevy Landman who were not able to identify that cause of the allergic reaction.

I went in because I was suffering major allergies. I had gone to so many doctors and no one could solve my issues. Doctor Zevy Landman cared to me and was great. I now go in for allergy shots and my allergies have become much less severe. Highly recommended

This place is horrible. My daughter couldn't make an appointment due to having Covid. The last thing on her mind was to call and cancel the appointment. They are trying to charge her $50 no show fee. Now it looks like it is going to collections. They should be ashamed of themselves.

My Son has been a patient with the Kendall office on Sunset for 3 years now. The Physicians and Nurses are very Knowledgeable about guiding you through the process and they are very good at administering the shots comfortably. The office staff is very Cordial and the Waiting room is Comfortable/Aesthetically pleasing. This office has helped us change our life for the better. It has been a VERY POSITIVE experience for our family. Our favorite Nurse is ELIZABETH! She is Amazing!
