Dr Gold and his staff explained every step of the process. They were extremely informative and my every question was patiently answered. All were Extremely professional! Well I was in contacts and progressive glasses. Spending tons of money! Now I have 20/20 vision. The sense of freedom is fantastic. Thank you Dr Gold for your expertise. I had vision correction surgery on Friday and Dr. Gold and staff are excellent! They have the procedure and recovery down to a science. All of your instructions, medicines, eye drops, etc are laid out for you to navigate for the few days of discomfort following the procedure. Immediately before and immediately after the procedure, my vision had a noticeable improvement.

Five days after surgery, I am seeing without my glasses /contacts and my sight is improving daily. I think the true impact to my life hasn't quite registered yet, but I know that I will be smiling about this decision for years to come! I contacted Dr. Gold this summer to ask about Laser Vision Correction, and got a very quick response back to schedule a consultation. Dr. Gold and his staff were all very friendly, and gave me a thorough run-down of the process, any concerns, and preparations. He got my surgery scheduled for a few weeks later, and gave me some Thera-tears to take in preparation. Dr.

Gold explained to me that he no longer does Lasik surgery due to flap-related complications. I had a misconception that PRK was outdated and no longer done, but it's actually still pretty common, and I was confident that Dr. Gold knew exactly what to do to bring the risks down to zero. The recovery time is longer, but I think it's worth it for the peace of mind (I'll never have to worry about the corneal flap being dislodged).

The day I came in for the surgery, I was pretty nervous. His staff took great care of me, and it was honestly a pretty quick surgery. Afterwards, I did have a few complications with dryness and the sensation that there was something in my eye. I came in for additional post-op check-ins--sometimes they were in the middle of the night. But Dr. Gold was willing to meet me at any time--day or night--to make sure I wasn't in pain. I got to 20/20 vision just a week after my surgery; it's now been three months since and my vision has never been better!

Dr. Gold performed epi-lasik on both of my eyes. He and his staff are amazing. It is clear throughout the whole process that they really care about their patients. Sylvana is so sweet and very knowledgeable. She makes you feel comfortable right away. She was very helpful during my consultation, pre-op, and operation. I didn't meet Jeanne until the day of my operation, but she has such a warm and welcoming presence.

When I began to get a migraine immediately following the operation (which is not a typical reaction), she jumped right into "mom mode" and put me in a dark room where I could lay down with water and a cold pack. Even my mother (who accompanied me) was so impressed with the compassion and professionalism of the entire staff. And Dr. Gold, of course, lives up to his ratings and reviews.

The operation was only a few minutes and I experienced absolutely no pain before, after, or during. Three months later, I am now seeing clearly with 20/15 vision and no longer have astigmatism. Thank you Dr. Gold!

I went to Dr Gold for my Laser Vision Correction based on a glowing review from a friend. I could not be happier with my choice. From my consultation, through surgery, to my follow up appointments, Dr Gold made me feel extremely comfortable and shared so much knowledge and seemed to really care about me and my eye care. So, I've been trying to get Lasik for over 5 years now but every doctor I've gotten a consultation at either refused to operate on a prescription as high as mine (-8.00 right -8.50 left) or because my cornea was too thin for traditional Lasik to make the flap. After years of frustration with contacts, I was researching a different surgeon not associated with the big Lasik farms (TLC, etc.), I found Dr. Gold. Dr.

Gold is an incredibly nice and professional Doctor. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. He made sure, every second of the process that I understood what was going on which includes pre-op, post-op and all the follow-up visits. If any issues arise, he is available 24/7. The surgery itself was painless and over in less than 10 minutes.

Immediately after surgery, I was able to see the time on the clock; which I've never been able to see without contacts (could barely see my hand in front of my face). One week later, my vision was about 30/20 and two weeks after that, I was at full 20/20. Just a heads up to anyone reading this, for pre and post op, there are many many different eyes drops you need to use multiple times a day. Follow Dr. Gold's instructions exactly and you won't have any issues. Dr. Gold changed my life and I would recommend him to anyone interested in Lasik/Epi-Lasik.

I received my Epi-Lasik surgery about 2 weeks ago. I can recommend Dr. Gold enough. The entire staff has been incredible throughout the entire process, from the screening to the post surgery care. I was never scared or overwhelmed throughout the entire process because I knew I was in good hands. The facilities are clean and appear to have the most update technology when it comes to eye care.

My favorite part is that Dr. Gold explains each test that he is doing and what is going on and why it is being done. Big plus to me. I arrived on surgery day at about 9:45 am and I was leaving the office at 10:30 am. During the surgery, I was comforted by the staff and a heroic little stuffed teddy bear, aptly named Seymour (get it See-More) Truly incredible that they can fit a surgery and detailed description of what to expect and review all the post surgery care in less then an hour.

The night I had surgery, Dr. Gold himself called me to check in and see how I was doing. It is nice to have a doctor that cares. Bravo to the entire staff at Liberty Vision, couldn't recommend enough. 10 stars. If you are thinking of getting corrective vision surgery, I would not trust anyone else with my precious eyes. To this day I sing the praises of Liberty Vision and my epilasik experience. I spent the majority of my life with terrible vision, functionally blind without my glasses or contacts. Now, not even a year out from the procedure, I can hardly remember what it was like to NOT be able to see, something I never would have thought possible! I was very well cared for by Dr.

The only way I can describe my experience with Epi-LASIK with Dr. Gold and Liberty Vision is that it has been LIFE CHANGING. After years of thinking I was not a Laser Vision Correction candidate (due to my dry eyes and astigmatism), not only did it turn out that I am, but my vision is incredible now. I no longer see doubles or halos, and my vision is 20/20 in one eye, and 20/15 in the other!

Another reason I really had such a great experience is the attentiveness of the doctor himself, a rarity these days. I had Monovision surgery done here and had a great experience. I was hesitant to have Epi-Lasik surgery for many years and finally was fed up with contacts and glasses. Don't think twice about EPI-LASIK. The processes at Dr. Gold's office were flawless, simple, and quick. The surgery was a walk in the park, I was always accommodated for appointments, and Dr. Gold and staff was very nice. The office was about an hour drive from my house, which normally annoys me, but it was well worth it. Very pleased the experience as a whole and my 20/15 vision : Highly recommended for EPI-LASIK.

Dr Gold is amazing! I had lasik 14 years ago to get rid of glasses for distance, and last year to get rid of "cheaters". I have sent friends and colleagues to him, and we all agree: he is professional, honest, skilled, and has integrity. My brother was told by Dr Gold that he was NOT a lasik candidate. This proved to me that he cares about his patients and wants the very best outcome.

He is not in it to just make money. In this day and age of doctors double booking, and just handing you an information sheet, Dr Gold spends as much time as you need PERSONALLY going over every aspect of the procedure, and what to do pre and post operatively. As a nurse, This astounds me! His staff Sylvana and Vicky are truly caring people, and put you at ease before you even meet Dr Gold. I had my Lasik done here and had an amazing experience. Dr. Gold made me feel at ease and he explained everything clearly. The office staff are also first class. They make you feel very comfortable with the whole thing. I can see without my contacts and glasses. It's the best investment ever. This is day 5 after the surgery and I can already see the improvement. It's painless and it's very little risk. You should get it done if you have been thinking about it. It is really life changing.
