Our practice has a legacy in advancing health care, fully versed in and even inventing new ways to improve women's lives. We believe in the power of one-to-one relationships with women, and are committed to care that's simple, personal and accessible.
Services
We are accomplished, compassionate caregivers in an independent, physician-owned practice. OBGYN Specialists was founded by Dr. Stephen Larson, who combined exceptional surgical skills with a strong sense of duty to the community. As a physician-owned practice, we are free to pursue goals that we set with a patient's best interests in mind, rather than meeting financial objectives.
Care that's consistently exceptional, thanks to a culture of curiosity and a passion for personalized care. I am often the only person a woman feels comfortable discussing intimate and vulnerable parts of her life with. In my role, listening and providing comfort and assurance of a plan can transform a woman's view of her future.
Infinite Health Collaborative ("i-Health") is a group of independent physician practices who have joined together to offer a solution for your healthcare needs. Our goal is to provide a network of physicians that are closely aligned to deliver value-based care. OBGYN Specialists are proud to partner with other independent physician groups in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
We believe in the power of ongoing relationships with the women we serve, and ensure that every provider on your care team is in sync with your needs, your care plan, and your next steps. I have found a way to blend both my love for patient care and engineering by developing devices which make surgery safer and more efficient.

Stay far far away unless you want them to do procedures that you specifically tell them not to. A physicians assistant cauterized my cervix (cauterizing means burning) without my consent, and in fact after I specifically told her not to! When you reach out to their patient support they will advise a virtual visit with a physician to review the notes of the provider who did the unethical treatment.
The notes they read will be very wrong than what you told the provider initially. Also you will be given very outdated advice such as "cleansing after intercourses" and using desitin as an adult on your vagina. Literally the worst experience I've ever had at an ob. I've spent the past few days crying from the procedure I asked to not be preformed.
They will also send you home with a cervical cancer phanplet but not tell you why. Aslo make sure you specify when you make the appointment that you want an ob because they will not! Instead you will end up with a physicians assistant that cannot identify regular female issues such as menstruation and instead recommends a multitude of treatments for a mystery ailment inckuding a strong antibiotic and vaginal ultrasound (both not covered by insurance).
Pretty sure they're just trying to suck money out of you as well with all the follow up tests with zero explanation as to why you need said tests (even the patient support person couldn't understand the need from providers notes).

They may be good as an obgyn but do not go here if it is for gynecology. They never have on time appointments. They also completely ignored my symptoms and basically told me to deal with it. I went to another office for a second opinion and they figured out what was wrong in one appointment while Obgyn specialists just ignored me for years

DO NOT GO HERE FOR PRENATAL CARE! Unfortunately I did NOT have a positive experience at this clinic. If you are not-athletic/slightly overweight, I would highly recommend seeking elsewhere for prenatal care. I came here for my first pregnancy and primarily saw Dr. Song. Per her recommendation I saw other doctors, and I happened to see Dr. Olsen. She was extremely condescending and downright hurtful in her comments about my weight.
I am slightly overweight. I understand it is important to maintain a healthy weight, but she made me feel very uncomfortable and unhappy about my pregnancy body. I left the appointment in tears after she went on a 20-minute rant about how she "lost 80 pounds recently" and how I needed to stop eating fried foods (I'm gluten free, I don't eat fried foods).
She also acted disgusted with my body when finding my baby's heartbeat, refusing to touch my belly. When she got the machine ready to hear my baby's heartbeat, she sighed and said, "Can you lift yourself?" and when I said, "What?" she rolled her eyes and said, "Your stomach." It was really embarrassing. When she found the baby's heartbeat she only let me listen to it for a few seconds.
Her overall demeanor was shockingly unprofessional and hurtful. On multiple occasions nurses rolled their eyes at me and were also condescending at appointments. Every appointment felt rushed and doctors were constantly running late. It was impossible to attend appointments over my lunch break because they were never on time. Dr. Song told me, when I was going to be induced, she would deliver my baby.
I was induced due to my blood pressure getting higher, and I truly believe it was largely due to the fact that I had extreme nervousness and anxiety before every single appointment. Fast forward to my delivery. Dr. Olsen showed up to deliver my baby. I refused to be seen by her and asked for the other doctor on duty. This was advised to me by a hospital staff member who told me it was my right to do so. Thankfully Dr.
Song was able to deliver my baby. At my postpartum check up, Dr. Song told me the clinic requested I go somewhere else for my next pregnancy. She told me I'm not allowed to "choose who delivers" my baby. I was appalled and shocked that she had seemed to forget promising me she would be able to be at the hospital. I was also shocked that I was asked not to return to this clinic because I felt uncomfortable with a woman who essentially bullied me and called me fat delivering my child. OB/GYN Specialists made my pregnancy everything it shouldn't have been: stressful, hurtful, and unenjoyable.

I love ObGyn Specialists. The doctors are fabulous and very knowledgeable. Throughout my first pregnancy, I tried to see as many doctors as possible to get to know the practice. Now I mainly seen Dr. Shibley. He always addresses my concerns realistically and has never made me feel uncomfortable or dumb for asking any questions. I am confident in using this practice to deliver my second baby and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good Obgyn.
