Terrible. I had been going to this center for over 12 years. I had been seeing the same DR. who had retired. For the last two years I had different Doctors. I had my annual exam. Got a call two weeks later to be told there were irregular cells then was told it was nothing to worry about and I would see them the next year. This did NOT sound right to me.

I went to get a second opinion and the new Doctor took one look and said I HAD to do follow up work/tests. The Avery Center has gone down hill for the past few years but since I had been going for many years I didn't want the annoyance of starting all over with another Doctor. I am SO grateful I got the second opinion. I am writing this to warn others of the dangerous practice these people conduct.

My doctor was great. The admin and billing staff horrible - they refused to change coding when it is extremely clear covered by my insurance. Please be careful and review your bills carefully from this place.

I cannot understand the good reviews this place receives. I have come here for several years because it is convenient but have never had a great experience. Doctor turnover has been high. I am now n my fourth different physician. I come here annually for a gyn exam but they never remind me I am due for a visit. I have to remember. I had a Pap smear two weeks ago and realized I had not received results.

When I called to get results they told me their policy is no news is good news. They do not routinely call or send results if they are negative. I never heard of such a thing. I am going to find a new ob/gyn practice.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dunlevy for a little over a year now and I must say she is phenomenal! She is so caring and compassionate. I express my comments and concerns and she listens and makes me feel comfortable. Check in staff and also all the medical assistants are excellent as well. I highly recommend this practice.

I've had nothing but amazing experiences here. Everyone is so professional and informed, and the patient is always the only priority. I came in here today for last minute appointment for an acute issue, assuming it would have to be a bit rushed. While Dr. Goldberg had a packed schedule, he still made time to do a full exam and overdue ultrasound since it had been a few years since my last visit.

It was efficient but I never felt rushed. I was so impressed, and felt so cared for. It takes a lot of work to make a gynecology visit enjoyable, but the team here do every time. I feel so lucky to have found this place and recommend it to everyone!

Absolutely terrible. Extremely unprofessional. Was always extremely rushed when I was in there. They did not care about my concerns. Had to call to schedule my own ultrasound after a lot of pain, only for them to rush through it, barely taking a look, and doctor did not seem to have time for my questions afterward. I really recommend you go elsewhere.

This is the most unprofessional and incompetent medical practice I've ever come across in my entire life. Please do not book an appointment here if you are expecting even a tiny bit of helpful information, and especially if you are expecting a child. I unfortunately was forced to endure the absolute incompetence of this place over the past couple of months because I couldn't change OB/GYNs during COVID, which in turn caused so much stress and anxiety during and after my pregnancy.

They were completely uninformative and dismissive and offered no resources or information throughout my pregnancy. During every appointment, the doctor not only forgot who I was but regularly misremembered me and asked me about issues that I never experienced/didn't discuss with them. The staff in front regularly talked about other clients' behind their backs.

They had no problem billing my insurance company constantly for tests and ultrasounds that I was NOT given, but when I called on a Friday night after experiencing severe abdominal pains and after being diagnosed with a UTI earlier in the week, the on-call physician, Dr. Goldberg, told me that "It's Friday night, there's nothing I can do for you, take a Motrin", and then proceeded to harassingly CALL ME FOUR TIMES IN A ROW after I hung up on him.

I was called to re-schedule due to an emergency the dr had to attend to, but they fit me in the same day, I barely had to wait 5 minutes and I was seen right away. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Goldberg and he even called me a few days later to discuss a test. I did like Dr. Meulenberg but very happy I was able to see Dr. Goldberg.

I've been going to the Avery Center for over 10 years now. I've had two OBGYNs at this practice, most recently Dr. Goldberg for the past five years or so. Dr. Goldberg is incredibly professional, friendly, and really seems to care about his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new OBGYN. Also, the office staff is polite, efficient and I'm usually in and out within a reasonable amount of time!

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldberg's for many years, and I can not say enough good things about him. He is incredibly patient and thoughtful, very reassuring to me during my 2nd high risk pregnancy, I never feel rushed, and he takes time to explain things. He is an incredible doctor, and a very kind and compassionate person.

Avery Center is a cheerful, clean, efficient office and the staff is kind, organized and thoughtful. Without any question, Dr. Rob Goldberg is the best. He is an absolutely professional, conscientious doctor and always a joy with whom to catch up and speak of how our lives are going. His enthusiasm toward life and experiences is contagious. LOVE Dr. Meulenberg! While all the doctors there are great, she's my favorite. Very friendly and personable. She was super helpful during both of my pregnancies and makes those pesty annual exams fly by and seem like nothing. All the staff is very friendly, too, have lots of advice and are very compassionate (when those pregnancy hormones make you seen like a crazy person!)! Definitely recommend the Avery Center.

I've been a patient of Dr. Goldberg for over 15yrs. He is an excellent doctor.very nice and professional in every regard. When it's your appointment time.you have his full attention.no cell phone.no tablet.just him to discuss, explain, or make recommendations on any delicate or private issues you made have about your body/reproduction.he pulls no punches even if you may not like the answer.however you know it's the truth because he has your best interest and health at heart.

He has called me after hours and a few times over the weekend to address my concerns when he knew the conversation was going to good length of time. He is definitely one of a kind.

Dr. Szeto isn't my regular doctor. But I had an issue over the holidays and not only did she squeeze me in-- twice!-- but my husband had questions that I couldn't answer for him and she took the time to sit with us and explain everything to his satisfaction. Very grateful! I've been an Avery Center patient for over 15 years and would highly recommend them all!
