A detailed Health Assessment Questionnaire is completed by every patient. A medical history and physical examination is performed along with a nutritional consultation. Any testing procedures that may be recommended are targeted for revealing the most important information for each patient's particular health concerns.

Non invasive testing via blood tests are a reliable way of determining food and other allergies. Patients and their doctors should be aware that doing the IgE blood test, the one most commonly used to check for allergies, will not uncover cellular reactions which may occur, and are responsible for the delayed reactions from dairy allergy, gluten allergy or other foods which cause chronic unwellness.

I am 56 and a past hockey guy with several past injuries, and I want great health for the rest of my life. For several years I have had the great pleasure of being cared for by Dr Sobo. I live in Florida now and still fly up to see Dr Sobo on a regular basis because he knows more about stem cell treatments than anyone in my state. Dr Sobo is also the most caring doctor I have ever found.

It's 2019 and this is the first review I have ever written because this is the first time that I have ever received quality care and superior service in health care. Dr. Henry Sobo and his staff at Optimal Health have literally saved my daughter's life. I have been to many doctors and even Boston Children's Hospital since 2013 in a quest to find out why my daughter is suffering with real and debilitating symptoms.
All her tests came up normal and most doctors wanted to blame her symptoms on an excessive need for attention! Dr. Sobo listener carefully to her symptoms and knew within 5 minutes that my daughter was ailing from sensitivities to food. Sure enough her tests confirmed Dr. Sobo's suspicions. She began seeing him infusion therapy twice a week. I was impressed with the level of knowledge his staff had, the way they treated my daughter (who hates needles) as well as how closely Dr. Sobo simultaneously monitors the patients he sees in his office and those receiving infusion therapy.
Never have I experienced a doctor so committed to every detail of his patient's care. It is such a relief and a breath of fresh air! What is equally commendable is Dr. Sobo's respect and kindness to his staff. The entire office has a homey feel, where the staff is genuinely happy to see and care for you. I recommend this office highly!

Dr. Sobo and his staff have made all the difference in improving the health of my daughter and me. We both suffer from chronic pain and over the last several years it's been a nightmare dealing with the medical community. That is until I was referred to Dr. Sobo. He listened and understood our pain. He had answers where most did not. He provided explanations for our situation without rushing us out.
He is compassionate and positive! Most importantly he and his staff treated us like "family." Monica, his secretary, greets my 13 year old daughter with hugs most days and always makes time to talk with her and ask how she is doing. Her enthusiasm and positivity lights up the whole office. She's like the mother hen of all Dr. Sobo's patients, no matter what your age to make sure everyone is getting what they need. Lucyanna, his nurse, is also extremely positive and nurturing to all the patients.

When there were days that my daughter got very nauseous and ill in the office, Lucyanna provided her with amazing care and attention! I took my vain and still very social 80 year old mother for PRP hair growth treatment twice with Dr Sobo. We are so appreciative to Dr Sobo and his wonderful team. They were professional and supportive throughout my moms bout of anxiety and answered all of her questions concerning her hair loss as well as her age. Dr Sobo was patient, kind, honest, pragmatic and straightforward.

Dr. Henry Sobo, MD is my Go to Complementary Medical Doctor in Stamford CT. I have known, worked with and used Dr. Sobo since 2008! I always found him to be calm, kind and easy to work with and very smart always on the leading edge not the bleeding edge! The Vitamin D3 he provided to me is the best I have tried and take. I was able to raise my D3 level from very low to the upper limits.
In New England CT that itself is an amazing task. To me Dr. Sobo represents the best of both worlds. Western Medicine with a holistic approach. Yes, I would recommend him if you are looking for a better quality of life and perhaps extending how long you live!

Anyone who is extremely knowledgeable about anti aging will not be happy With this office. Hes not familiar with cutting edge Therapy for BHRT, Not familiar with peptides it was a total waste of money but I guess people or not knowledgeable about anti aging will not have a problem because they do not know any better.

My experience at Dr. Henry Sobo's office was second to none. I highly recommend Dr Sobo and his staff. My thoughts and opinions were included in every decision that was made in my health care plan. I was treated with the upmost care and respect as an individual. Where other Dr's fell short he took the time needed to fully understand my situation and was able to properly diagnose and treat me.
In essence, Dr. Sobo saved my life. His approach in using both conventional and natural treatments is in my opinion the best of both worlds. He is caring, thoughtful, open minded and dedicated to his patients. Thank you for taking such great care of me!

I went to Dr Sobo to get some relief from menopause symptoms. His staff was nice and pleasant on the phone and made me comfortable. Dr. Sobo is pleasant as well. Once on a regular schedule of hormone cream, he checks in regulary and makes sure you are doing well. He is also able to provide phone consults after the initial meeting which helps as I live an hour away from his office. I would highly recommend Dr. Sobo if you're going through the change and need a little help getting through the discomfort.

I would give him zero stars if I could. The $300 initial appointment fee is bogus to get you in the door. Once he's done with you it'll be more like $1000 and you'll be scratching your head saying "for what?!" He'll get you with bogus blood tests for "food sensitivities" and then sublingual drops to help which aren't anything.
I had them checked. He brushes off your medical concerns with a smug attitude and takes your money. The whole shop is shady. The only good thing is that he gives vitamin IVs but even that I'm not so sure of. He's a scam artist who preys on the ill. Shame!
