Pellisippi is a terrible choice when looking for post secondary education. The teachers could careless about the students. Don't try to speak to speak up because the deans don't care either. Here's the kicker Pellisippi is so scared about students dropping out and wonder why no one attends classes but then has teachers that let all of their power go to their heads.

When you try to go seek help from anyone at Pellisippi they either don't know who to contact or push your concerns under the table and forget about you. Students who have concerns will never be heard nor have any of the issues fixed. All Pellisippi cares about is the government funding they get from students who attend there. I would love for someone to direct me to someone who genuinely cares about the students and will make sure their voice is heard.

My history professor gave an A because I broke down crying in front of her and she felt bad.

I love how shady this college is towards there students and trapping them here 5 stars for keeping low income people low.a college that sees a potential in low income moving up and stops it by increasing fees and prices I respect that 100% way to go pellissippi keep up the good work and you'll continue to have my support

Beautiful pond with geese and ducks in the heart of Hardin Valley, right outside Pellissippi state community college. It has 3 really small trails(less than a mile) and some green lawn with frisbee baskets. Wonderful to walk here in summer and also during fall and winter. Only problem in summer is bugs and mosquitoes.

Great walking/jogging trail along with a duck pond, disk golf course and room to roam around and play. Security monitors the property and there are usually plenty of folks around, making it a safe place. My only complaint has always been how nasty and filthy the water and surrounding area is due to hundreds of Canadian Geese residing there year round.

I received my Associates Degree from Pellissippi in 2007. I came back last year to take a few online courses b/c I am pursuing my Bachelors at another college. The courses are much less expensive and the instructors are great. However, the staff is very abrupt and rude. It doesn't matter if I am talking to a receptionist, advisor, business associate -- even the online Help Desk.

I am not sure what the issue is, but I have yet to encounter a friendly staff member. I would recommend this school b/c of the price and knowledgeable instructors. The school staff though, needs an attitude adjustment. They need to remember that we are the students and without us they don't have a job.

Excellent community college probably one on of the best in the nation. A great college to prep you for the University of Tennessee.

Good school and good environment. Has a big pond so there is a lot of ducks and geese that love to hang around. Be careful driving in because the ducks and geese do like to cross/block the road sometimes. People also do frown upon people who run over these creatures.
