Services
We focus on offering a high quality, service oriented environment for your surgical procedure. Our facility is accredited by The Joint Commission. Lakewood Surgery Center is a facility in which physicians have an ownership or investment interest. The list of physician owners or investors is available to you upon request.
The staff of Lakewood Surgery Center are highly trained professionals that have chosen to focus their careers on the service-oriented environment of outpatient surgery. Our staff is committed to creating an environment in which patients not only receive the best quality care, but also the highest level of service.
Any pre-operative tests will be determined by your physician or anesthesiologist and communicated to you prior to the date of your surgery. You may receive up to three calls. You will be contacted a few days prior to surgery by a member of your health care team. This call will include a routine health assessment, instructions for the day of surgery, and answers to any questions you may have.
CareCredit is a credit card issued exclusively for use in paying for your health care expenses. You can apply for a CareCredit card to cover the facility portion of your bill at participating surgical facilities. Depending on the cost of your procedure and the options offered at your surgical facility, you may choose between 6 and 12 month special financing options on qualifying purchases of $200 or more.*.

I had surgery to fix my broken right ankle on 2/8/22. From the moment I arrived until I left, I was treated absolutely wonderful from all the staff there. My pre-op nurse Jessica, surgical nurse Christina and post-op Vanessa are just phenomenal with their patient care skills and made a stressful time more tolerable. Vanessa did a follow up call the next day also to check on me, which was so nice. I would highly recommend this facility. Christine Mazzarino

Both my husband and i have had many procedures done here. From the people at the front desk to the nurses and doctors we have nothing but great experiences. The facility is immaculate and the staff has been the same for a long time, which says a lot to us. I am going in tomorrow for another procedure and have no qualms about anything. Would tell anyone to go there. Love the docs at Shore Orthopedics

I have had several procedures performed here. From the reception desk to the discharge door, every employee works hard, efficiently and with a smile on his or her face. If you happen to be a nervous person they find a way to put your mind at ease. Obviously nobody has told them that in order to be efficient you need to have a scowl on your face. Every action they take is done with a positive attitude. If you have questions they will find an answer for you. All Special Surgi-Centers should use their operation as THE Standard of excellence.
