Called this morning to schedule an appointment. Apparently the stopped same day appointments back in June! Do not remember getting any information an a patient of over 10 years saying that they were doing this. We are now looking at other places for our health care.

This is the best care I've received in Fayetteville. Every single staff I encountered was so kind and I truly felt listed to and heard, which I've found hard to find in doctors offices. Feeling optimistic to go back again, when normally this is something I dread!

While on the phone asking questions, the person I was speaking to proceeded to hangup on me while I was in the middle of speaking to them. I waited for them to call back (my phone number was given and is visible. They also knew who I was through my files with them.) I will say I will more than likely never go here again. (In response to the owners reply.) No the call was not disconnected due to traffic or service.

The phone could very clearly be heard being put back onto the receiver. If it had been disconnected due to what you had suggested and I had not heard the actual phone hitting the base I would have called back.

I just want to say that Bonney Wheelden, ARNP is my new personal hero and I want to thank her, her nurse and everyone there for making me feel heard and noticed for the first time in months.

Been going there for 30 years. Great doctors ( DR.Stephenie Insixiengmsi is the best.) She makes me feel so good. Great attitude and so willing to help. And always, the whole staff is great. 5 stars for Dr. Insixiengmsi. A great person.

I called yesterday to be seen for coughing and neck pain. The girl who answered my call told me I needed to get tested for Covid before they could see me. I explained that I had just gotten the third (booster) shot Friday but she said I still needed to get tested. Called back 2 hours later with my negative Covid result and asked at what time I should head over there but she said they couldn't see me till next week.

If they were unable to see me she should have said that rather than making me drive to get tested to then tell me they couldn't see me. It is disrespectful and unprofessional.

Office is really great to get you in and out, also refilling medications. Consider seeking care elsewhere for any complex issues, from my own experience providers became dismissive related to ongoing/worsening issues or simply correlate the symptoms to a psych condition. I am finally being seen by a provider at another office and being treated for toxin exposure. Dr Wesley could practice active listening. No need to respond with an automated response, this is the level of care displayed at this facility.

I've recently had the opportunity to talk to Katelyn three times to f/up on a response from my doctor. They are super busy and the wait is long. However, Katelyn has the best attitude considering the circumstances, knows what she is doing and is friendly. Kuddos to Katelyn.

My husband has had a very terrible experience with AHEC overall. We have been waiting for months for referrals to get answers about my husband condition that continues to deteriorate almost daily. During our last appt a week ago the Dr acted very nonchalant about my husband's symptoms which are debilitating. When I asked the Dr why we still didn't have the referrals from over a month ago her response was I could have sworn I sent that.

She said we should get something within a week. Today is a week. No phone call about a referral just a phone call canceling my husband's appt for counseling that he has waited 2 months for with no offer to reschedule. At the rate you guys move my husband will be dead before you figure anything out. And God forbid you try to call. You have to stay on hold for 45mins! Thanks a lot guys

I had been attending SRAHEC for over 3 years and was fortunate to have good care until December of 2020. I went in for a simple well checkup pap and breast exam. #1. When I arrived I was told I could not be seen because of my insurance. They offered no explaination as to the problem. It took great effort getting there because I'm my husbands caretaker. AHECT told me to do a self pay to be seen, only to find out from my insurance that they never heard from AHEC in regards to my appointment and that my insurance should cover the cost.

Also during the appt. I was injured by the attending health provider during my exam. The pain was horrific and it felt like a unknown prceedure was done because of the level of pain verses a simple pap smear. The doctors response to me was that it happened because others are probably more experienced than her. They have a new director of the facility that clearly doesn't like me and my complaints.

She can care less. This office justifys charging me for the exam even though my insurance has stated they never heard from this billing department. The care provider kept trying to push medications and different shots for me to take and was acting as if she was trying to get some sort of bonus for pushing meds. The doctor seemed irritated because I'm healthy.

She then left my husband sitting in the exam room we were in to use the exam room next door. It was in that exam room that I was viciously injured. This office has done nothing to resolve this issue and they haven't billed my insurance. They are lying about their reason for not billing my insurance company. I'm still having some discomfort because of that exam.

And the attending provider asked me before she did the so call.pap if I had been taking aspirin and how much aspirin do I think is in my body. Aspirin is a known blood thinner. This is another reason I question this care providers motives on that day. IF YOU ARE A HEALTHY PERSON I WARN YOU TO MOVE WITH CAUTION CONCERNING SRAHEC. THE LEVEL OF CARE HAS GREATLY DECLINED IN THIS PLACE.
