My first visit with Dr Chopra was fine. Though it required a $1,000 personal check written out to him. They don't accept insurance for the first visit. My initial visit was April 22nd and Dr Chopra said his office would call the following Monday morning to schedule my injections and next steps. I have called or emailed every day they are open since in an effort to schedule the appointment.
I finally received a call back today June 7th. They claim it is because of the volume of requests they get and Dr Chopra knows about it. When I asked questions about it I was hung up on twice. At my initial appointment Dr Chopra insisted on hugging me and explained I would be well taken care of. Unfortunately this has not been my experience and I'm incredibly disappointed. I have never written a review before but feel compelled to warn others. It is not worth the treatment of the front office.

Although Dr. chopra is very good at his profession his office staff are terrible. Not only are they unprofessional and rude they lie to cover up their mistakes. I did try to speak with Dr. chopra but he would not take my calls or return my letter. It is unfortunate his staff is as incompetent as they are.

I guess compassion comes with a price as another reviewer wrote if their experience. If you have been in pain for 10 months, FINALLY want to move to manage pain instead of trying to find the ACTUAL CAUSE, most unsuccessfully, then be careful if you want quick response just SETTING an appt. Referral was sent on the 10th, I called on the 13th and they did not have it.
I asked about the process and was told that pain management IS covered by MY INSURANCE, BUT to be diagnosed on the cause of the pain is NOT covered and would be $1,000 out of pocket. My PCP office faxed over again. I called later in the week and again was told they don't have it. I called again on the 28th and was told, oh I see you paperwork here.
I don't think we take your insurance, Ill have to get back to you. I checked my insurance website and they take EVERY plan listed. I called my insurance to confirm and they said also confirmed that dr takes it and confirmed I am covered. I called back and was told they were waiting to hear from their billing company. Finally just after 5 I received a call and was told NO we do NOT take your insurance. Um.2 weeks ago they did, just needed referral but today they don't. Healthcare industry has to be one of the WORST functioning industry.
We as patients must demand accountability and quality, just like we would investigate any other purchase. Reviews are important, please review your doctors to help others. Most importantly, call out those doctors doing an exceptional job and expose those that have a different view of what "healthcare" is, and that it is a PRACTICE. Objective is the improve, learn and grow!

I love Doctor Chopra my husband has been a patient of his for 13 years! Dr Chopra helped us when his worker comp case also. However his office staff has changed and is not as compassionate understanding or Efficient As his staff was at the beginning you only get voice mail call backs are few and far between and getting refills is hard even when the pharmacy is requesting them and now with no explanation we are being released to find other pain management to say the least we are disappointed and angry we will Miss having Dr Chopra on our team but I will not miss dealing with his staff!

Dr. Chopra is wonderful. He has excellent bedside manners. He listened to my issues patiently. I had seen many doctors before him and no one could come up with a solution. He spent over 5 hours going over every detail. He found out that I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a rare condition. I am now doing much better.

Dr. Chopra has been a God send for me. I have been battling a very bad back for over 25 yrs. I have severe spinelstennous, loaded with arthritis in my back and I was told I have some kind of cysts in my spine. If it was not for Dr. Chopra I don't know were I would be. Every three months for over 15 yrs he has taken my pain away. He is compassionate and really cares about his patients. Can't say enough!

After 9 years of suffering, procedures and misdiagnosis my 24 yr old daughter has a renewed lease on life! A renewed faith in the Medical industry. Dr. Chopra provides true in-depth consultation and worked to get to the real root of a chronic pain condition that dozens of doctors in 3 states have overlooked. She's making improvements on a regular basis as he continues to work on tweaking a wide variety of treatment plans. Such a compassionate and caring approach is refreshing! Highly recommended!

Dr. Chopra is caring, compassionate and listens. I think he is a great doctor but he did misdiagnose me and delayed treatment for CRPS which progressed and became more complicated. He diagnosed me with EDS hyper mobility which is probably something I truely have but you can also have both CRPS and EDS. He said I didnt have CRPS because I don't have burning pain. Which I had only occasionally but you don't have to have burning pain to have CRPS everyone is different and it's based on the Budapest scale.

Compassionate care at its finest. Dr Chopra is a rare master diagnostician with the patience and warmth one dreams of finding in a doctor when dealing with complex health conditions and resultant chronic pain. He and his staff made me feel like my care was the most important thing in the world during my appointment. I came away with a better understanding of the issues impacting my health, and a thorough plan of care to move forward. Highly recommended!

Dr. Chorpa is great. Polite, very knowledgeable and well informed. I have severe issues with pain from from my back. The problems concern bones and muscles and the joints. In three years I have seen over 8 doctors and no one could or even knew how to help me. Finally one doctor discovered the problems but not completely and told me to take ibuprofen.
So finally I went to dr. Chorpa after the othrapedic doctor refused my insurance for injections. Dr. Chirps has fixed the pain issue completely. He listened to everything I said and about the issues I have. I saw him one month ago and I'm pain free. I'm not on any pills either and nothing he did was extremely painful or invasive. There is a long wAit once you get there but it's because he spends good time listening and properly treating each person. So have patience because it is worth it. He works wonders.
