Dr. Barbara Bopp is a cosmetic dermatologist with more than 25 years of experience. Her desire is to help patients age gracefully, a goal they can achieve thanks to her expertise in physician-directed skin care, non-ablative cosmetic laser therapy, and general dermatology, as well as her knowledge of the latest techniques with filler injectables.

In 1999, my colleague, Dr. Jack Ward, and I co-founded pairO'docs Bio-Rejuvenis, a lifestyle medical practice in Shreveport, LA. Traditionally trained, I am an ophthalmologist with specialty training in cornea and refractive surgery. The incorporation of lifestyle medicine into our practice has allowed me to concentrate on the optimization of my patients' health and wellness.

04/12/22 Dr. Felix and I were able to resolve the misunderstanding, thus far, and he has personally taken on my laser treatments for the time being. The nurse anesthetist, Kristi, did a phenomenal job on my anesthesia and Dr. Felix was very thorough with this treatment. I am glad I gave Bopp Dermatology an opportunity to redeem themselves and appreciate the humility they have shown. 03/30/22 Dr. Bopp and I are working to resolve the issues mentioned, will provide an update 03/28/22 I became a client of Bopp Dermatology 03/09/21 to begin tattoo removal treatments.
The aesthetician quoted me for $500 originally to remove 3 tattoos-one about the size of the bottom of soda can ($300), another one a little larger than a quarter ($100), and one of moon phases that were no bigger than a pencil eraser ($100). I thought this was a bit much for what I was getting removed but, I knew having my tattoos removed would cost me.
I received 6 treatments (two of them having to be rescheduled due to different issues at the office-machines down, someone quitting, etc.). My moons had been blasted off my skin during the 4th treatment, so on the sixth treatment I asked for an estimate on my remaining two, untreated tattoos (a larger, but very minimalist piece consisting of simple lines and a small five letter word in a literal 18 pt font).
I was told by the aesthetician that it was $400 without the moons and they could do the remaining two with the two still being worked on for $600 total. We started treatment. In the course of all of this my aesthetician left and came back and was leaving again (no big deal). So I had two different people who had worked on my tattoos. About a week out from my 7th treatment I received a call that my appointment had to be rescheduled and Dr. Bopp would be doing my treatment this time.
This came as a surprise because since I've been a client, I have not once met any Bopp's so this would be my first time. When I came in for my appointment, a parade of people came into the suite with no explanation. Then Dr. Bopp came in. I explained to the whomever (I honestly didn't know anyone's role in the room, except for Bopp) what work had been done.
They asked about anesthesia and I explained I received it on all areas. Dr. Bopp acted confused about the work and had me explain again. When he looked at my chart he told me that I had basically been being "undercharged" and that he wouldn't make me "pay back" what he "lost" on my previous treatments but going forward I would have to pay the new rate, $1200.
I was a bit surprised. He then explained he wouldn't charge me for anesthesia ($75/treatment) because I should have been being charged for it but, I hadn't. He then told me I was "getting a good deal" before and that though he "likes" me he doesn't like me "that much." Whatever that even means considering that was the first time we met. He then explained he could do a third of the work that was being done for the same price as the rate I was getting before. Rates being $200 for a small tattoo (he said my five letter word was considered small) and $400 for a medium tattoo (he considered my slightly larger than a quarter sized tattoo medium).
I told him I would have to talk it over with my husband since it was such a big jump in price. Now, I feel slightly uncomfortable about going back even if I wanted to. I don't like the idea of being robbed and then being told that they're doing me a "favor" by doing so. I've spent $3000 on my tattoo treatments which is certainly nothing compared to the revenue this practice makes and is also probably why he doesn't care if he loses a client.
It's unfortunate that they are trying to take advantage of me after being a regular client for over a year. It was all strange and I guess they assumed I would continue my treatments since I'm so close to being done but, I rather find a new derm, honestly. I had scheduled a consultation when I was first looking at getting a rhinoplasty based off of all the good reviews but it quickly went downhill. My appointment was in November after waiting about 30 minutes I was finally seen. I was seen by Dr. Bopp and a nurse I was telling them my goals and expectations for a rhinoplasty and was very excited talking with him figuring out the best options.
We talked about going through insurance and paying the difference, I expressed it didn't matter I would pay up front I wanted it done. We wrapped up and I paid a consult fee and was told the nurse would call me Friday. I waited until Friday didn't hear back, I called a week later. I know people get busy but the girl answered the phone rude and was like "they are going to call you" without even asking my name or who I was.
I NEVER heard back from them again. I ended up getting my rhinoplasty done with another surgeon and couldn't be happier. I was concerned to hear when I told my new surgeon about my experience with Dr. Bopp that he doesn't even operate?!? His wife does the surgery's. All I can say is I would avoid when considering any kind of surgery!

This place is incredible! Wonderful staff! I was absolutely terrified to fill in my laugh lines.practically flight risk but the staff calmed my nerves and were extremely patient with me! The little procedure was painless and I could not be happier with the results! I highly recommend, and if I could give 1,000 stars I would!

I've just started treatment but I could not wait to write this review. I discovered over the New Year's holiday that a skin graft I got on my nose in Philadelphia at the beginning of December following the removal of a skin cancer was failing. I was so freaked out thinking I had dead skin sewn to my nose and called for help several local doctors plus the one in Philly who had done the graft. Kristi (Cristy?) from Bopp was the one of only two people who called me back - on the first business day after New Years! - and she gave me an appointment on the very next day.
These incredibly kind and caring people took such good care of me - a new patient, a stranger in town, coming to them with a botched job from another doctor. And they bent over backwards to get me approved for a treatment my insurance normally doesn't cover that will spare me the trauma of going under the knife again. I couldn't be more grateful or more impressed. Thank you, "Dr. Felix" and Kristi!

Absolutely phenomenal. Went there for a mole and skin tag removal. Did not feel a thing. Outstanding staff, outstanding doctor. Excellent professional manner with excellent professional service. I cannot not speak higher of them. Would recommend to anybody who would listen. Best experience I have ever had outside of a hospital setting in a very long time. If I could give 10 Stars, I would.

I went in for a consultation with Dr. Barbara. First of all the clinic is comfortable and staff extremely knowledgeable. It wasn't my intention to have anything done at this visit. The nurse spent a great deal of time explaining things to me and answering questions. This helped me with more detailed questions for the doctor when she came in. Dr. Bopp is amazing!
So smart and down to earth. She offered a range of options that fit different budgets. I decided right then to start treatment and it was the best decision I've ever made. For anyone that is hesitant my recommendation is to have a consultation. It's the best money ever spent. It will answer any questions. You will be in excellent hands. Dr. Bopp took thirty years off my life in one visit. I can't wait to go back!

I started laser hair removal here with Christine back in June 2020. 18 months later in December 2021, it feels like the best investment I've ever made in myself. I used to struggle with ingrown hairs from 5+ years of waxing. Now that I've gotten laser hair removal, I'm so much more confident in a bathing suit. I don't even need to worry about shaving because I'm basically hairless. It's an amazing, effective, & painless process. Dr. Barbara is the most caring doctor I've ever visited. She not only cares about your skin concerns, she takes time to review your overall health! Dr. Barbara performed the Versa procedure, the discomfort level was minimal. I'm very satisfied with my results and the level of care I received at Bopp dermatology!

I've been going to Bopp Dermatology for about 6 years. Everyone and every treatment has been wonderful! The staff is very focused on you and your individual needs. I joined The VIP Bopp of the Month Club last year and love getting new treatments every month! My skin never looked or felt better and Kasidy, my aesthetician, is very knowledgeable about which treatment is best for me and how often I should get them. Excellent way to keep up with your skin and a great way to pamper yourself! It's like a spa experience every time.
