I had a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Sparks answered all my questions prior to surgery and was a available after surgery for questions. My mobility has increased and I feel grateful for the care I received from the entire team at AFOC.

I had a major shoulder surgery following getting caught in an Avalanche and Dr. Sparks did an incredible job. The staff were all very professional and helpful. It was my first surgery, but Dr. Sparks and the staff were so kind and well trained, I was not nervous at any point during the process. I am now on the road to getting back to the activities that I Love thanks to AFOC.

Dr Prevost was kind and understanding. He treated my knee problem appropriately. His word can be trusted. The front staff however could use a bit more assertiveness to schedule follow ups and check out with everything i was told id get.

Dr Sharp did an excellent job with my right ankle surgery. The staff at Creekside were on point and on time. They also made sure my post-op pain was managed.

I've been to AFOC many times, both for spine surgery and follow up, as well as for knee pain & xrays. They are extremely professional and on top of it. They don't mess up on the small details. ALSO their physicians and surgeons are extremely kind, provide personalized service, and have great bedside manner. The exact opposite of some of the other clinics in town.

Had two xrays done. Both doctors said different things but regardless I needed to see a hand specialist. Scheduled the appointment and showed up, and they canceled my appointment. I asked to have medical records released so I can see someone else and they promised me 7-10 days I could pick up the information. I call they haven't even done it yet. I have had a broken finger for 8 months. -100/10 stars

Had a full knee replacement, Dr Sparks did a great job. The incision was clean and straight. X-rays of the replaced knee looks good.

Had hip replacement in early November. I am very happy with the results. My care was organized and professional. Now in mid January I have resumed normal activities without the pain I used to have. I have a lot of confidence in my new hip. Should've done it years ago. Would recommend Dr Prevost and his staff to anyone.

I have been seeing DR Lapkass for my knees and shoulder for the past 12 yrs. He takes The time to listen and has a very positive attitude. I am grateful to have found such a caring doctor.

After 5 attempted knee surgeries without successI I went to Dr Sparks, he did a fantastic procedure replacing my knee, I know that is was a very difficult and technical surgery, he pulled up all the stops, figures everything out and now I'm truly on the road to recovery. Thank you so much AFOC and Dr Sparks for the phenomenal service, professionalism and kindness.

And please don't let me forget my dearest Annette in therapy, a detrimental asset to AFOC, she didn't give up on me, we are still working on the knee now and now we can see light at the end of the tunnel. Surgery is never any fun but AFOC made this venture so much easier, seem less and much more pleasant. Thank you to the whole staff, keep up the great work!

Dr. Sparks at Anchorage Fracture & Orthopedic Clinic has done a good job in keeping my left knee working - so far with knee replacement. Thank you for your excellent medical care.

My son unfortunately injured his arm snowboarding at Alyeska. Our experience so far from calling to inquire about when they closed to checking in to seeing the intake rep to seeing the PA. a very nice reassuring experience. Definitely not what I hoped for on my birthday but definitely recommend this group. Thank you all. See you Monday for his cast.

Dr Lapkass is a caring doctor, had a post op follow up appt n that day for my shoulder n had a hip pain, Dr Lapkass did an exam and found that the source of pain was in my back. He had no problem taking an X-ray and referred me to his associate who is a spine specialist.

Dr. Prevost conducted a complete left hip replacement after 5 years of pain with every step or movement I experienced zero pain going forward in life and can truly say 100% success. Dr. Prevost went above and beyond when the 1st morning after surgery he asked who I was talking to and I said my mother. He asked for the phone and gave her a full report. Very nice indeed

I found the entire experience to be very professional and efficient. Dr Prevost outlined my options very clearly, ultimately leaving the choice of surgery up to me. My questions were addressed quickly and politely by all the staff. Recovery was MUCH faster and easier than I anticipated. I would highly recommend to anyone even thinking about hip surgery.

Phone calls were handled in a timely manner by professional and helpful staff. My wait time to check-in was at times delayed by numerous patients in line and my wait time for the doctor was within 20 minutes of my appointment time. I did have to wait for an x-ray longer than I felt was appropriate, but the staff was apologetic and quickly and efficiently did their job.

I found Dr. Prevost to be pleasant, knowledgeable, able to explain my situation in a clear manner, and he was willing to listen to my questions and concerns. He referred me to their physical therapy department and I found Robert, P.T., to be friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to work, within reason, to my time schedule. No clinic runs smoothly 100% of the time and staff aren't always at their best, but overall I found AFOC to be top notch and wouldn't hesitate to return, if needed, or to refer others to their clinic.
