I brought my daughter (a musician) to the Urgent Care for a suspected fracture on a Thursday. The xray tech pointed out the fracture. The Urgent Care doctor assured me there was no fracture. She said I could follow up with MidJersey Orthopedics. I called MidJersey Ortho the following morning (Friday). They wouldn't make an appointment for 10 days.

I called back to ask them to look at the xray. They never called back. At 3:30pm on that Friday afternoon, I called St. Luke's Orthopedic doctors. They made an appointment for the following Monday. I went to Hunterdon Medical Center on Saturday to get her xrays. The head of radiology read her xrays and found a fracture of the radius. He never called us. 3 different departments in the Hunterdon Healthcare system had the opportunity to diagnose her fracture (and alert us).

All 3 failed miserably. St. Luke's took good care of her. I am disgusted with the lack of communication and the gross incompetence of Hunterdon Healthcare (with the exception of the xray technician).

So in short HMC is pretty much like Newark Airport said f' it lets open a hospital! Every wonder what its like to receive care in rural Venezuela, well wonder no more my friend, no need to travel to have this wonderful experience! simply visit HMC. This hospital has taken dehumanization and substandard care to new levels. Should you have the misfortune to land here be prepared to be treated like an animal and deal with a system designed to strip you of your dignity and basic humanity at every turn.

It's not even worth it going in to the specifics of what happened to me here. Just trust me and run from this place at all costs. You will be luck to survive a visit here and you will definitely need counseling after your time at HMC ( and a trip to a real doctor)

My husband has been constantly neglected by his doctor here. They do not answer phone calls, direct you to a portal but then never respond to messages sent. They fail to approve medication refills, leaving their patients to go weeks, even months without their prescriptions. Please take your health seriously and see medical professionals who actually care, do NOT do business here.

I took my husband to er. ppl were nice. But our room not very clean looking. This is the wife btw not hubby. the room looks old looking. In fact its been 15 years since we were last here and nothing has changed. Theres some kind of red smear on the walls. No one gave us a pee cup to give a urine sample. didnt know he had to till after he went to bathroom.

Then was told Oh it's ok Took forever for them to get blood out of him. I have to give it to the Leigh Valley health network in pa. They really have it going on. Maybe you should consider following there ways

The doctors and nurses are caring and provide excellent care to my entire family. The staff are friendly and responsive.

If by some unfortunate situation you wind up in this circus ER. do your best to avoid Andrea Doyle. Andrea is an ignorant, negligent behavioral health "counselor" who has no business working in healthcare. I'll never forget Andrea's ignorance ~ my best friend was double billed for laboratory services. Why you ask. well, my friend gave a UTI sample for a drug screen - which was negative.

Yet Andrea decided to repeat it 4 hours later, thinking it'll be positive. If you're looking for negligent staff like Andrea Doyle, then Hunterdon Healthcare is exactly what you need.but if you're looking for competent care, there are better healthcare options out there. Atlantic Healthcare; Robert Wood Johnson; Capital Health; etc. Skip over Hunterdon Hell. do yourself and your wallet (and your medical insurance) a favor - go someplace else.

Showed up to a rather empty emergency room And waited nearly 3 hours for my 13year old son to be seen. You'd think a bleeding leg injury on a minor may get you seen in less than 3 hours.

The customer service is the absolute worst. I have been trying to pay a 17 dollar bill for days now. I tried paying online it says the account isn't valid, tried the automated phone system, nothing. I cannot get a hold of anyone I wait for 5 mins and get sent to voicemail. This is going to hurt my credit if it goes on unpaid. I'll just go across the river to St. Lukes from now on. At least they are professional.

Nurses are great. Aid are ok depending who you get. House keeping and others things no so good. Have asked about the trash bin being full for two days and they are still over full.

Corporate healthcare. We didn't even get to the appointment before we decided to go with an private practice doctor. The entire system is cold, disorganized, and certainly not at all helpful when you are worried about health issues. We have had to cancel appointments with them 3 times now because there's no internal communication. Terrible patient care, terrible attitude.

Why would I trust my health with a group that can't even get the schedule straight? They want you to drive a half hour away to get a Covid test at their lab, when there's multiple places locally we could go to. All about insurance and money, not patients. No thanks.

Billing and customer service is the worse. This is the second time and second review on this operation. This is my second unfavorable review; first was on Hunterdon Medical Center. Nothing changed, same issues. Received a lab bill from two years ago and blamed on my Insurance. The statement from my insurance states otherwise. They lie and will place you into collections in a heart beat. Severely disorganized and incompetent is an understatement. Waited on the phone for an hour.

If I didn't like my doctor as much as I do, there would be no way I would have anything to do with them. Atlantic Health is way more organized and professional. Highly advise to have lab work or any specialized procedures done outside of their network and save yourself a ton of aggravation.

Maybe because I arrived via ambulance this time but it's seemed to be improved! More thorough in their care this time in the ER but they can do better. The doctor was better but still missed the major underlying cause on my ultrasound, which means I still went home with insufficient care and basically had to figure things out for myself with what I was given. But I have to give credit. They're going in the right direction. Also, stop timing your patient runners. That's unsafe for the patients.
