I was sent a bill for something that was already paid. Not just once but a double bill. They attempted to send my insurance company a duplicate bill with a different claim number on it. My insurance company caught this and when they sent back the dispute, it was then double billed to me. Isn't this fraudulent? Also, my insurance provider sent me a list of negotiated amounts and come to find out they actually owe me $1090.
When I called to resolve this, I got a foreign call center of someone I could not understand, only to say the bill was sent in error and it would take 60-90 days to get this resolved. So even trying to do the right thing by paying the bill before the insurance resolved this is now taking time and money to resolve. My service was done at St. Joe Mercy and this is a company that Trinity Health uses. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

They sent me a bill from 2014 in 2019. I contacted my then insurance and they paid the bill. I don't know why they didn't bill my insurance in 2014. After my insurance paid the bill in May of 2019, they added it to my credit as derogatory 6 months later. I pay for prepaid legal services and I intend on using it. This company will be reported to the BBB also.

EPMG billed me as a result of a hospital stay. They failed to bill my insurance which would have paid 100% as I had no deductible as a result of the the hospital bills. Once it got to a point where it was too late to bill insurance DHS said they would cover it. Once again EPMG failed to send the bill, to DHS. Three years ago DHS gave them a 2nd opportunity but DHS never heard from them.
I personally have not heard from them or anyone representing them since 2015, yet EPMG just placed a derogatory note on my credit report. This company's billing department is very unorganized and clueless as to what they are doing (or not doing).

Horrible customer service, basically told me they billed me twice and because i didn't follow up or receive bill they turned me into collection. I asked why my insurance was not billed as it was billed for the hospital portion and the rep stated she doesn't know sometimes that just happens and because i didn't respond to the two billing statements sent to me i was responsible and it was to late to bill insurance. I think it is wrong on behalf of the hospital to hire someone to bill for physician chargers but not give the information needed for billing.

Just a warning to wait for your explanation of benefits before you pay your bill! I was billed $442 after my insurance paid of $583. When my EOB arrived it stated i only owed $145. This is not the first time this has happened. I think they need to re-train their billing department. If I have had this happened twice how many elderly have paid their bill without questioning the total : Shame on you
