Buckeye Vision Care

I just went for the first time this week and was very impressed with Dr. Morton and the staff at Buckeye Vision Care. They were very patient and caring. Our family also appreciates their attention to safety protocols within the office and are excited to have found our new family optometrist!

First and foremost, everyone is very very nice! I don't believe that they're very up-to-date with the products they offer however, at least for me. A year ago, 6/2021, I specifically asked if there has been any advancements with soft contacts because my "hard" RGP contacts make my eyes so dry that I can only wear them 3 hours at a time, and my eyes are very red the entire time. Dr. Morton said there hasn't been any advancements with soft contacts to fit my high astigmatism eyes.

He suggested I try OcuSoft wipes, which didn't work. Come to find out, they have had advancements in soft contacts to fit my astigmatism call Biofinity XR toric, which are made-to-order. I got these through Walmart, and they're amazing! I can actually wear contacts all day now without needing to wear glasses, and my eyes are no longer red. So, very frustrating that he wasn't aware of this made-to-order brand that's been on the market since late 2013, according to the manufacturer, CooperVision's website.

I also wear transition lens glasses that turn dark when I'm outside. Walmart offers transition lenses that get very dark to the point where they're almost black and get very clear indoors. Dr. Morton's lab they go through can only make transition lenses that only get somewhat dark where you can still see your eyes, and when you go that dark, they will have a slightly darker tint when you're indoors. So, Walmart's lab is able to make darker lenses when outside and are clearer when indoors. Like I said, everyone is extremely nice, but I don't believe they're very up-to-date with products, at least for me.

In September I went to Buckeye Vision Care for the first time. I knew something wasn't right with my vision, and I knew that I had waited way too long between eye exams. Dr Morton was great. He was thorough and he found the problem. He referred me to a specialist who confirmed Dr Morton's diagnosis. Dr Morton also did a wonderful job dialing in the prescription for my new glasses, and I can now see much more clearly. Dr Morton's entire staff is wonderful, too--everyone I came in contact with was kind, caring, and helpful.

When it came time to choose new glasses (a daunting task), Catherine found frames for me that are perfect, and when my new glasses arrived, Pam adjusted them for me, making sure that they fit me just right. My new glasses have exceeded my expectations and so has Buckeye Vision Care. Thank you, Dr Morton, and thank you for selecting such a great staff!

I usually hate going to the eye doctor, but BuckEye Vision Cara has changed that. The staff was really friendly. They were also helpful in helping me understand my insurance coverage and they helped me pick out a frame. Dr. Morton listened to my concerns and I was really happy with the exam and diagnoses. They will not disappoint!

I've been coming to Buckeye Vision for years. The main reason I keep coming back is Dr. Morton and his team. Catherine is always so nice and Pam went out of her way to help me find the right pair of frames. I love coming here and always refer Dr. Morton and his team whenever I get the opportunity.

Buckeye is the best place I've ever been to. Being new to the area from Iowa, every single person at Buckeye made me feel welcome and were all extremely helpful and responsive to any question I had. Dr. Morton and his team went way above and beyond my expectations, answering and asking me questions that I didn't realize I've been wanting answers to.

I absolutely love Dr. Morton. He's super sweet and caring with his patients. When I'm looking for a provider, I always make sure to have one that individualizes their care, Dr. Morton does just that. He's not only competent, but also caring and compassionate. Dr. Morton and his staff are simply excellent. Pam is super sweet and personable and always does things with a smile, you can tell she loves her job. Actually, you can tell that Dr. Morton and all of his staff love their job, they do it with positivity and are very considerate.

In fact, I love this place so much that I've recruited almost my entire family to see them. They're simply wonderful! During Covid, they are super clean and make sure to follow guidelines to give you the best care. If you're looking for a new eye doctor, I would recommend Dr. Morton.

My husband, son and I have been going to BuckEye Vision Care since we moved to Centennial 6 years ago. Everything about this practice is perfect. it's easy to make an appointment, we are always seen promptly and their selection of frames is fantastic. Most recently, I had an injury to my eye and Dr. Morton was quick to see me, develop a treatment plan and make sure that my eye heals completely to prevent further damage. I'm so appreciative of this office and their patient care!

They are always on top of rebates available and ways to save on your purchase. The staff is wonderful at helping choose frames and lenses too.
