Took my mom for her colonoscopy and have nothing but great things to say about the nursing staff. They were so accommodating and helpful throughout the whole process. This is a great practice. From the moment I walked in, I was treated very well. The RNS were so nice, courteous and helpful. Id like to recognize 2 RN'S at the Hillsborough office, RN Casey and RN Lilly. They explained everything to me, asked many questions, asthey should and made me feel very comfortable. My doctor was Dr Accurso. He was awesome.

Together, these two diseases are typically referred to as colorectal cancers. According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in men and women in the United States. The death rate for colorectal cancer has been dropping for the past several decades, possibly due to increased awareness and screening for the disease.

Their return call practice is poor. They have either too many patients or too few nurses. Expect a call back only after an unreasonable wait. The first time this call-back problem happened they finally discovered they had mistakenly mixed-up my cell number with my wife's cell number. They corrected it. But now the no-call problem is back and they are again leaving me hanging.

I had no complaint about the wait times at two in-person visits. I had no complaint with Dr. Greaves. But he and his colleagues have to fixed their staffing issues and policies. Patients should not be left twisting in the wind. I wish I had picked a different provider with sufficient staffing to cover the case load.

My partner went to Dr. Accurso for digestive issues and he was extremely unprofessional. He barely spent 10 minutes talking to them about their symptoms and did not ask enough questions. He told them it was probably nothing and to just take advil and a few days later they threw up blood. I recommend any future patients find a more empathetic and attentive doctor.

I had my colonoscopy today, March 7, 2022. From the moment I walked in, I was treated very well. The RNS were so nice, courteous and helpful. Id like to recognize 2 RN'S at the Hillsborough office, RN Casey and RN Lilly. They explained everything to me, asked many questions, as they should and made me feel very comfortable. My doctor was Dr Accurso. He was awesome. I highly recommend this location when planning and prepping for your colonoscopy. Thank you!

Don't expect doctor Vergilio or his office to follow through on anything. Multiple times I would call in and ask for a script refill that I needed daily, a week in advance and it would take me 3 more phone calls and days of medication missed. The doctor comes off as confidence which unfortunately is actually arrogance. After having an abnormal procedure, he assured me would contact a surgeon and didn't.

A month later I had another follow up and still didn't contact the surgeon. Then he went on to recommend treatments that we've been trying already for the past year. He didn't even have my chart up his nurse had to interrupt him to tell him what medication he already had me on. I was truly horrified. Not apologetic at all. Said "these things happen".

They happen all the time at this office I assure you. I've went here a year before finding another doctor. I've been sick a long time and been to a lot of doctors. This guys up there for one of the least caring and lazy there is.

Better not have any digestive issues during the pandemic if they are your practice. They have canceled my in- person appointment twice in the last month and are not scheduling in person visits until April and you can not call until then to schedule. Sometimes digestive issues can not be done via a phone! Everyone says to not dismiss your health during the pandemic. but how can you take care of your health if the doctor will not see you?

Dr. Gary F. Ciambotti, MD squeezed me in for a appointment last minute due to an acute onset of severe GI issues. I found him to be a wonderful doctor. He has a great bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. I have complete faith that he will get to the bottom of my issues. Gary F. Ciambotti, MD is truly an asset to the medical profession. Thank you!

I waited over an hour to see a doctor. Bad customer service. Two patients who's appointments were scheduled after mine and arrived after me, were taken back before me. After waiting for an hour, I asked the assistant how much longer until I see the doctor. She said two more patients. After 75 min, without seeing a doctor, I went to the front desk and said I had been waiting so long that I just wanted to leave and get my money back.

The one front desk staff had an apathetic and bothered tone with me and tried to pass me off to a coworker. I told her the same thing, she said that she would need to talk to her manager to refund me. Then she passed me back to the first women I spoke to, who refund me. While waiting up there, I noticed there were a total of 3 patients checked into the office.

The manager didn't come out of their office to discuss why I was leaving. NOT ONE MEMBER OF THE STAFF apologized for the doctor taking so long to see me. You can definitely feel how much they care.

They have messed up my prescription 4x in a row now. I got my prescription (which is one pill twice a day) from being picked up at the pharmacy to home delivery. Good grief what a mistake! They sent over the prescription for only once a day. So I got half my prescription, called the doctor, and they "fixed it". No they did not. They sent a prescription for medication my insurance won't cover (which they knew because we tried getting it prescribed first).

So after a bunch of back-and-forth so I decided OK I'll just go back to picking it up at the the pharmacy again. All they needed to do was send my prescription for the medication twice a day and two times now in a row to my local pharmacy they have sent the wrong prescription. They sent it again through as once a day and then they sent it through as the wrong medication.

Four times in a row they have messed this up. It's not hard. One pill twice a day! The last time I called them I even explained to them that they had screwed up three times so please don't mess it up this time. Explain to them what the medication was how much I take everything and they still manage to screw it up. I don't know who is handling the medication over there but they have no idea what they're doing. Good luck getting your medication!

I had a positive experience at DHC. They were very responsive to my questions and phone calls and always got back to me quickly, in regards to the prep, the procedure, anesthesia, billing, results. They were on top of everything. I also got lucky the day of my procedure they were able to move my start time up. Most importantly, Dr. Gingold is a thorough, highly skilled, excellent surgeon. I very much appreciate everything he and DHC did for me. Thank you.
