Services
The ADOS is a semi-structured assessment of communication, social interaction, and play (or imaginative use of materials) for individuals suspected of having Autism or other pervasive developmental disorders. The ADOS consists of four modules, each appropriate for children and adults of differing language levels, ranging from non-verbal to verbally fluent.
A speech therapist's (or speech language pathologist's) role is to provide treatment to help increase a person's communication ability in writing, reading, speaking, and listening. Communication function is always affected when an individual has memory and other cognitive deficits, such as Dementia.
At Neuropsychology and Counseling Associates, we offer a wide range of services for older adults and their families. Individual, group, and family counseling are offered to assist with age-related issues. Cognitive and dementia screening, neurocognitive and behavioral rehabilitation help to determine if changes are needed or whether a new level of care be considered by the older adult and their families.

Rhonda Batlas, at Neuropsychology & Counseling Associates, is my therapist. Rhonda is warm, caring, skilled & experienced. She is a gifted therapist, with important skills of creativity and empathy. I can't speak highly enough of the difference she has made in my life. helping me heal & deal with different issues. I have also had very good experiences with others in her office, including the staff at reception.

I cannot say enough for everyone at the Neuropsychology and Counseling Associates. My experience is amazing right from the moment I walk in. They are professional and kind and that goes from the front desk to the billing office to scheduling to treatment. I would give them a 10 if I could. NCA has many ways to help an individual target their needs. AND NEEDS GET MET. A safe, secure place that I look forward to visiting and I am so blessed to have found them. I have a great deal of gratitude for Michelle.

The service providers here are fantastic. However, for a place providing mental health care treatments, the billing department and front desk staff (with very few exceptions) are incredibly rude, impatient, and cold/unwelcoming. If the service providers were not as good as they are, I would stop going here due to the other staff.
