Emory-Adventist Hospital at Smyrna is a 88-bed, not-for-profit facility operated by Adventist Health System AHS as a joint venture with Emory Healthcare. The hospital was established in the early 1970's when a group of physicians recognized a need for a hospital in Smyrna. On June 3, 1974, the hospital then known as Smyrna Hospital admitted its 1st patient.
