The Neurology Center of the Carolinas is now composed of four centers: the Sleep Lab, the Neurophysiology Lab, the Blood and Chemical Lab, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinic. Our M.D. staff consists of four SC Board certified Neurologists, providing evaluation and treatment of neurological conditions for the residents of the Carolinas. Their names and areas of expertise are listed in the Physicians page.
Services
Spartanburg Neurological Services, P.A. began in 1990 as a solo private practice serving the greater Spartanburg area. We have evolved into a group practice with four neurologists representing several subspecialty areas including adult neurology, clinical neurophysiology with EEG and evoked potentials, neuromuscular disease including academic quality nerve conduction and electromyography laboratory services, epilepsy with appropriate diagnostic services such as EEG and inpatient video-EEG monitoring, sleep medicine with a free-standing laboratory and participation at two hospital-based laboratories, stroke medicine with a fellowship trained cerebrovascular disease expert and neurovascular laboratory, autonomic disorders laboratory, and developing a neurorehabilitation program appropriate for our community's needs.
Neurologists must lead in the development of excellent clinical services within the field of neurology and implement those services for the benefit of the people in the communities in which they live. We believe that it is our responsibility in this region to uphold this policy and improve the quality of life for those with neurological diseases.
