Upstate Plastic Surgery

I had been going to Upstate Skin Care spa for many years, usually for chemical peels with Louisa. Now Louisa has moved on and so I had a peel with Hannah. She's very knowledgeable and professional but I did not like the ViPeel she sold me on. I had been getting TCA peels and the Vi Peel was to be slightly stronger which I was OK with. Not only did I see no results ( no peeling or redness) my skin looked the same and it was $350.00 when I had been paying $100.

I thought we had settled on one that was $250 but in the end I was charged more. I tried to review this peel through the ViPeel app but it isn't very user friendly. I doubt I will return for this service.

Very nice staff, great group of doctors and nurses, they really seem to care about your well-being and overall health.

Update: The office continues to give me the run around. After telling me staff was out of town until 12/15 and I would receive a call back to address my concerns then I have still have heard nothing from them. This isn't surprising since that same staff cancelled my first appointment after leaving me waiting for 30 min in the waiting area because she wasn't notified I was there in her words.

Her excuse was having to do a patch test. This should have been done my first visit when I booked the appointment or communicated prior. Once again this is because they cannot treat skin with melanin properly. No other office has this issue. This office is a big waste of time. Do NOT waste your money here on laser hair treatments if you have more than an olive skin tone.

The laser technology is outdated. Spend more and go to a reputable provider. 1 more expensive treatment at another facility was more effective than 3 treatments (of 2 separate areas). I voiced my concern and was met with a shrug of well maybe it just doesn't work on you after my treatments and $500. I feel taken advantage of. If you don't have the technology to treat women of color just be upfront and say that.

Great results! It was hard trying to decide what doctor to go with around town but Dr Blakemore's photos speak for themselves. Don't just go by reviews on any doctor. Make sure you see their work. She even held my hand until I fell asleep for surgery. I do feel like every appt after the initial consultation was rushed. I feel like they always had somewhere else to go, but then they are in the hallway. Weird. However, I felt comfortable here and would def recommend this facility. Great results, thanks Doc and staff! **update, since the review I am not feeling rushed during my appts. Great office.

I recently had a breast reduction done by Dr kevin shultz. He is the best Hands down just outstanding. He was very helpful he cared about my concerns. I was very well cared for while in his hands during my surgery. He did everything I asked of him. I'm very satisfied with my results. I'm still healing, but I did not image my results would turn out the way it did.

I knew it would be great but no this great. He is truly the best. He gave me my confidence back and I'm forever grateful. The staff at the hospital and office was amazing. What a team. I felt safe and recovery have not been bad at all. I'm now looking into Dr Shultz doing my tummy tuck if possible. Im not sure if he does it, but I'm definitely planning on calling the office Monday and seeing about it.

I don't want nobody else working on me but Him. He really cares and works so hard to give his patience a wonderful experience. When researching for plastic surgery The most important thing when choosing the right place is the right Dr. I must say Dr shultz is the right Dr and Upstate plastic surgery is the right place for the job. you will not be disappointed. Satisfied patient 3 weeks post op.

Breast cancer was a complete shock to me at 33 with no family history. Dr. Blakemore and her team not only saved my life, but made me feel whole again. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction and could not be happier with her work. She treated me like family, and I would never go to anyone else!

Traci was the single most helpful, kind and knowledgeable nurse I've ever had in my entire life. Dr. Schultz was wonderful today too, of course, but I was under anesthesia for most of that part. I've never had anything but great experiences here but Traci was SO WONDERFUL. Can't wait to get my dressings off tomorrow and see the outcome.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Shultz. He and his team recently did my breast augmentation and I am loving the results! He knew what look I was going for and he has delivered! I couldn't be happier! I always felt like I could ask as many questions and state as many concerns as I wanted without feeling rushed. On the morning of surgery I almost passed out because I have a weird needle phobia and am not a fan of IV's.

The nurse made me feel perfectly normal about it even though I was very embarrassed. I would recommend Dr. Shultz and Upstate Plastic Surgery to anyone looking for a breast augmentation.

Dr. Lovett is amazing! He did my breast augmentation and lip filler. I am now a loyal patient and won't go anywhere else or see anyone else. He answered any questions I had and made sure I was always well informed. I continue to recommend him to friends and family. I am so pleased with the outcome of my surgery and my lip fillers. He helped me gain my confidence back and for that I am forever grateful!

I got a facial with Adrienne and it was amazing! She did such a great job assessing the needs of my skin and figuring out exactly what I needed. I recommend 100xs over.
