Practitioners are experienced, no complaints there. However, the office needs to have a more organized scheduling process. The phone lines are often busy, they have to use call backs or the person you may speak with cannot perform the function you request (as simple as cancelling an appointment). There should be an online portal to communicate with the office and practitioners.

When there are so many complaints regarding the lack of responsiveness to phone calls to this office, you know that is a serious concern. I have been going to this practice for several years because my doctor there is absolutely amazing! However, it is true that you cannot get a live person to answer any extension and voice messages are left for them in vain.
When it is a time sensitive matter and you are in need of medication, this is unacceptable. I read the owner response regarding this matter stating the healthcare industry is suffering. They have a wealth of workers all over that office but what I've noticed is that by the old checkout area, they congregate and socialize. They seem like they came to the office just to do that. Nonetheless, I will try and press for my refills while I'm at my visit because unless my doctor leaves, I'm going to stay.
My suggestion to anyone wanting to try this practice is don't leave until you've called your pharmacy and made sure your refill was sent. I actually had to go in person to do this because again--no one answers the phone--ever.

Nicholas is very Professional and Helpful, but the rest of the team, especially via text, was patronizing, disrespectful, unhelpful, late to do the work they needed to do, and delayed my prescription on numerous occasions. Very frustrating to work with anyone besides Dr. Nicholas Girardi, and not a great look for employees to patronize and be disrespectful over text.

Dr. Girardi is a great doctor, however, I'm sorry to report that the customer experience at this office is beyond terrible. First, it's actually impossible to reach anyone at the office directly, no matter what time of day you call. Trust me, I've tried all times! Instead, you get sent to an answering service where you can leave a message for the main office.
I have called at least 7 or 8 times now, over the last 6 weeks and left messages and nobody has ever called me back. I have explained the urgency of my situation each time to the (very empathetic and kind) ladies at the answering service whose only option is to pass along my message. One lady even said that she was going to call over to the main office herself and talk to the manager for me because she was appalled at how long I had been calling and leaving messages.and guess what?
No call back from the manager that day either. I am new to Maryland and am not sure if this is the norm here, but it's been a horrible customer experience so far. So. I officially give up! I'm now looking for a new dermatologist office if anyone has any recommendations.

SCAM. FRAUD. I paid my bill in full. Months later got a bill for $56. I called and they could NOT tell me what it was for, she then said it's for: sending a prescription to rite aid (Which Rite aid never received); after you PAY your bill in FULL. They send a SURPRISE bill for fake services and will send to collections. DO NOT USE THESE SCAM ARTIST. I've spent thousands at this office and will NEVER go back. Contacting the ATTORNEY general and Med board next. It's the PRINCIPLE.

Melanie was great! The whole practice has changed since I was there almost 2 years ago. She listened to all my concerns and I got in with barely any wait. The one thing I didn't like was they send you back to the front desk now when checking out and there was only one person checking people out so the line backed up pretty bad at one point. But other than that, it was a much better experience than at the dermatologist across the street from them.

I really enjoyed my visit with this wonderful doctor. All of the staff are warm and kind. My doctor, Dr Gerardi, was absolutely respectful and extremely knowledgeable of my diagnosis and subsequent procedure. I will highly recommend this center and this doctor! I have had a vast amount of experience with doctors and it's always a disappointing and frustrating time- not so here! I will come back in the future for all my dermatology needs. Great job! I love Dr. Gerardi!

The whole visit took a total of 29 minutes! The staff at the front desk was so accommodating and personable. The appointment was called so fast that my son had already been taken to the back while I was finishing filling out the last forms! Dr. Girardi is knowledgeable, informative, and honest. He was expedient, but not in a rush. The support staff was very friendly also. Overall, this is one of the best experiences in terms of time and service that I've had at a doctor's office in years!
