There are numerous plastic surgeons in and around Columbia, Maryland, but few offer Dr. Eric Chang's rare blend of impressive credentials and genuine compassion. Dr. Chang earned his medical degree from Columbia University after graduating magna cum laude from Yale, and then completed a combined general and plastic surgery residency at Stanford University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Clarke was born and raised in Potomac, Maryland and graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BS in Psychology/ Neuroscience and a Minor in Women's Studies. She then attended Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed a full 5 year General Surgery Residency at NYU Medical Center and an additional 2 years of Pediatric Plastic Surgery Research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania.She designed and executed several clinical studies during this research fellowship, as well as serving as a member of the Institutional Review Board at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

I couldn't be more pleased with the attention, care and breast implant surgery results. After 20 plus years of having Saline implants I went with silicone. I have found them more natural and comfortable. Dr. Chang listened to my questions and concerns, shared several options, explained his preference but open to my thoughts. I never felt I was pushed into a decision I didn't want. I also saw Josephine on several follow up visits and she too is amazing.

I am beyond grateful for Dr. Chang and his staff! Deciding to finally have breast reduction surgery is one of the best decisions that I have made for myself. Dr. Chang was my top choice and he didn't disappoint. My process was seamless from the initial consultation to surgical follow up. But let me tell you baaaybeeee! My breasts are sitting pretty and I feel much lighter.

I have to say, my experience with Dr. Chang and the staff at Columbia Aesthetic Plastic Surgery was everything I could have hoped for and so much more. I was sold after my first appointment with Dr. Chang, and this was my second consultation. He gave me all the information I needed, made me feel like I was making a good decision, and assigned me homework for our next appointment.
From that day forward he and his staff exuded a level of care and professionalism that was so comforting that I didn't even think about my nervousness until the day of surgery.and even that morning I felt like I was in GREAT hands! The Best Doctor and Medical Staff! The Greatest experience from the beginning to the end. Dr. Chang and his Amazing staff (Nicole, Josephine, Alex, Crystal and everyone from the surgical center) were so patient and friendly throughout all my visits at the office and surgical center. From day one, they all took the time to explain everything to me and accommodate all of my needs.
I have never felt more comfortable at a Medical office before. I'm so happy and grateful that I chose this Amazing group to do my surgery. I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends. Dr. Chang, PA Josephine, Alex, and Nicole have by far been the best medical staff that I have crossed paths with! Dr. Chang and Josephine did an excellent job on my operation. I am highly satisfied! Alex and Nicole were extremely helpful! They kept in touch with me to make sure everything was okay along with having great communication! Dr. Chang and his staff have been a pleasure to work with through a very stressful time this past year. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2021 and I had my first of two surgeries with Dr. Chang in April 2021 and the part 2 in July 2021. Thanks to them, the results of my surgeries have been great! During the process, Dr. Chang and his PA Josephine took their time to explain the surgical and recovery expectations to me in an easy to understand way.
The office staff has been a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, responsive, knowledgeable and helpful every time I've had any interaction with them. My surgical results have been nothing but impressive and I am very pleased. I would (and have!) recommended Dr. Chang to my friends and family!

I've had such a positive experience with Dr Chang, Josephine, and the rest of the staff at Columbia Aesthetic. After having a large skin cancer removed, I needed plastic surgery to close the wound. The healing was quick, and they were reassuring and forthcoming with what to expect. What I appreciated most of all was the caring and empathy I received during that anxious time. I highly recommend them!

Dr Chang, Josephine and the staff deserve a 5 star rating. They work as finely tuned machine. Dr Chang spent time with me before my procedure to be sure I understood his process and the recovery. He gives very clear explanations and directions, always verifying along the way if your questions have been answered. Both he and Josephine are kind, welcoming, compassionate and just downright pleasant - it is easy to tell they love what they do and truly care for their patients. I would recommend them without hesitation.

If I could give Dr. Chang and his staff 10 stars, I would! This professional and caring team quickly moved mountains to help my son with some emergency reconstructive surgery. We have a ways to go, but our family has been blown away with how much they cared about our story -and wanted to go over and beyond to help. They are carrying us through a very scary time with patience, kindness, and Dr. Chang's compassion and amazing talent is reflected is his staff as well. THANK YOU!
