We are a full-service practice of dedicated, experienced Primary Care Physicians who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve their health. We work together to serve your entire family for all of your medical needs in all stages of life. Our physicians believe in providing comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Our Family Practice Department includes 5 Board Certified Physicians. We treat the entire spectrum of family health from adolescent to adult, as well as women's health, with an emphasis on preventive care.
CMP Family Practice provides complete care for the entire family at all stages of life. Our physicians work closely with our physician's assistant to provide seamless, comprehensive care for you and your family. We have providers available until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. We typically have same day appointments available. Our office can treat minor emergencies as well.
Internal Medicine includes 5 Board Certified Physicians and a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, who provide urgent and preventive healthcare for adults, including INS Physicals and access to our Ancillary Services department. We have providers fluent in Cantonese, Spanish, Nepalese, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. We make every effort to accommodate same day appointments for urgent care.
Our Board Certified Physicians and Certified Nurse Practitioners offer comprehensive medical care for infants, children and adolescents at every visit. We are conveniently located at the intersection of Routes 29 and 175, with walk-ins, same day appointments, extended hours and plenty of free parking.

I've been with this practice for 20 + years. I really loved the doctor I was seeing. She left this practice in November. Since then, I've had a hard time getting my RX filled, including my blood pressure medicine I take monthly. It takes the doctor days to approve the request. I believe its just the doctor I am seeing specifically. I'm going to try out one more doctor within this practice.

If I have the same issue, its time for me to finally leave and go outside of this practice to find a doctor like the one I had (Irma Bensigner, MD). They should've never let this doctor leave this practice. She was very good and been there for years. I also have issues getting test results. I receive an email saying my results are available then to find its not showing on my portal. I find myself calling more now then ever before to check the status of my RX request or test results. SMH

Luckily, this is not where I go for PC but my husband has been a patient for a few years now and he has had a horrible experience each time to the point he does not want to seek help when he is not well and general physicals. He gets bronchitis every winter but ended up getting it 2 weeks ago and when he first called, the front desk told him nothing was available so I told him to call back again and he was able to get a Telehealth appointment after speaking to someone else that was much more helpful.

It's understandable with covid spikes, you would not want a patient with respiratory conditions to come in to the office; Between the Telehealth call with another provider that was not his PC and follow up appointments with nurse practitioners he was not given the appropriate care he had received, even in the last year. My husband had a hoarse cough, was not sleeping at all and causing myself not to sleep.

He was told to get an X-ray and when he followed up on, was told to just wait it out. I understand there is a lot of strain on medical professionals still but my husband was not treated like patient. It seems like his condition, along with him having asthma is such a burden to your practice and you gave a lack of care and have prior to this. It's a shame and it not a surprise why a lot of people are seeking help through the venues, outside of general medicine due to experiences like this and even through my personal experiences.

2 of these stars are for the doctors I saw that are no longer with the practice and 1 star is for the front desk staff. I actually really liked my physicians. But they left. They probably know more than us just how bad the administration is at CMP.

Positive: Dr. Leichtling the best doctor! Especially to the special needs community- highly recommend! Cons: Front desk associates will cut you off when you call in to ask for DOB and then shortly after ask you the reason for your call. Also, doctors will mark you as a no show for an appointment when you were waiting on their phone call.

This place is horrible! Don't waste your time here. I have been a patient for many years but I am so done with this place. The front desk staff is rude, you have to be on hold for 30 minutes before they answer, can never get an appointment when you need to see a doctor, and they take forever to refill prescriptions. This place is so bad that the doctors themselves keep leaving the practice. I have had to go through 3 doctors in the few years I have been a patient here. Even the doctors lack bedside manner and empathy.

Called at 8:30 AM to schedule a covid test since I had covid symptoms the weekend prior. They said that I would have to attend a telahealth to be assessed by the doctor before coming into the drive through to get tested. They told me that my telahealth would be at 1:30 PM the same day and I asked if that would be okay since their drive through testing closed at 3 PM.

They told me that it would be fine and that they could still do the testing. I then waited until 1:30 PM but had received no call, so I gave the office a call at around 1:40 PM asking when I should be expecting the call and they told me that it was scheduled for 1:45 and that I should be receiving a call shortly. I then waited until sometime after 2 PM and called the office back and spoke to someone but they told us to wait 5 - 10 minutes for a call back but never got back to us.

Then we called back and had to wait in the queue for more than 30 minutes so I hung up and decided to wait a few minutes before calling back. I then called back and waited over 40 minutes in the queue and finally got to speak to someone at the office and they told us that they did not have any available testing for today. We told them that I haven't spoken to the doctor yet and the person at the front desk told me that they would speak to someone and left us on hold for another 20+ minutes.

I finally gave up and hung up the phone very disappointed and angry at the staff working today. Completely unacceptable even if short staffed. Would not recommend this office.

The people answering the phone are extremely impatient/rude. Calling for an appt already takes a month- two AT THE MINIMUM to schedule. I have a minor cold due to the weather changing AND have gotten a rapid test to prove it is not covid. Yet they still are making me cancel my physical to reschedule a little over a month later. Tried explaining situation and lady kept cutting me off saying "are we canceling or rescheduling" over and over till she hung up on me. Been coming here for almost 20 years to see Lawrence Swink.

Never returning to this office, the level of help/service provided by the front desk has gone down hill quick over the last few years. Recommend another office for much faster apps and nicer individuals.

Happy with the medical care I have received at this practice. The front desk leaves something to be desired. I arrived 15 min early for my latest appointment, like a good patient, only to find out 45 min later the front desk never actually checked me in. A nurse called my cell to ask if I missed my appointment and I told her I had been sitting in the waiting area the entire time. The front desk admitted their error and offered a very insincere apology and did not seem at all concerned with wasting my time.

I've seen 3 different doctors during my time as a patient. I switched from the first after she repeatedly didn't listen to me as the patient. I then saw Dr. So for 5 years & he was excellent! He listened to my concerns, never dismissed them & worked with me to make treatment plans that were tailored to me. After his recent departure, I saw my 3rd doctor who was just like the 1st.

She didn't listen to my concerns. She wanted me to stay on a medication longer than deemed necessary by both Dr. So & my therapist. She never asked details about why I was on it. Once I explained & told her I would be tapering it, she mumbled through a process for me to follow. This was the last straw & I'll be switching practices. There are way too many other doctors to stay with ones who don't listen to their patients.

I went to get my physical done here at Internal Medicine department with Dr. Reha Pokharel. During the visit I mentioned I had some back pain and a migraine problem and she took down notes. When I received my bill I saw she charged me for a physical + an additional office visit. I called to ask why and I find out because I was apparently treated for a migraine and back ache.

I was never treated for either of these things nor did she give me any advice on these issues. When I called and asked to dispute it I was told doctors don't take things off from charts to avoid looking suspicious or being accused of fraud. At this visit I also had some bloodwork done. My results came back and I was able to view them online. I got a phone call telling me to make another appointment so the Dr can discuss my results with me, so I do.

At this visit Dr. Pokharel just read all the results that I had already read online, not really providing additional insight or advice and she let me know I was fine and good to go. A few weeks later I get another bill for this office visit, even though I didn't get any medical advice and frankly was a waste of time for me to leave work early just to have someone read the same results back to me.

It feels like these people here just want to find any and every excuse to charge you even if no real service was provided. Aside from the financials, Dr. Pokharel wasn't really kind or gentle. I mentioned to her I was getting married soon and requested a pregnancy test. Her immediate question was, "Is it from the same man?" Very off putting especially because I wanted to feel safe and be able to trust my Dr but she made me feel the exact opposite. I will definitely be finding a new doctor/practice and will not be returning to this place.
