Maryland Podiatry Center - John J Murphy

Left a needle attached to my suture in my bandage. Doesn't listen. I would give zero stars if I could.

Dr. Murphy and staffs are so caring and wonderful. we would recommend to anyone looking for podiatrist to this office.

I had a really bad achilles problem, so bad i could hardly walk or wear a shoe. after months of suffering, i went to dr. murphy. he suggested shock therapy treatment, i was apprehensive at first. however after a long road to recovery, i am at a place where i never thought i'd be. i can walk, go up and down stairs and am pain free almost all of the time. i highly recommend him and his treatment. what he did for me was life altering as i can now go out and walk anywhere, no matter the terrain.

My experience with Dr. Murphy and staff was great. Dr. Murphy diagnosed my foot problem, and explained whey I was having foot pain. He recommended the steps I should do to improve the pain and eventually correcting the problem. Dr. Murphy was pleasant and caring. He is the third Podiatrist I have visited in the pass few years, and the one I think I will keep. Thanks Dr. Murphy.

Very positive experience. Dr. Murphy has a great and friendly "bed side manner" and I left feeling much better than when I arrived. My visit felt efficient, and I appreciate my time being considered.

First visit went very well. Doctor seemed very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to deal with. Convenient, clean and fast service. Definitely would recommend anybody considering to go. I will definitely be returning for anything in the future.

We had a fantastic experience with the Maryland Podiatry Center and Dr Murphy. From the staff to the doctor, everyone was accommodating, friendly and professional. My daughter had an ingrown toenail that had become painful and swollen. We were able to get a new patient appointment with the doctor for later that same day. All of the paperwork was prepared and submitted on-line, so when we arrived, we just verified a few items and were seen by the doctor within a few minutes. Dr Murphy is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

He examined the toenail, explained exactly what the issue was and what the options were. He then laid out exactly what he was going to do and what to expect. The surgery was completed and we were out of the office in under an hour. The toenail was repaired, the swelling was gone, the pain was gone and everyone was comfortable and happy. All around a great experience.

Great Experience! I received a convenient appointment, was greeted by a friendly receptionist, and was seen on time. Dr. Murphy gave me sufficient time to express my concerns. And best of all, he solved my problem! Highly recommended!

Dr. Murphy and staff are outstanding, professional and competent. I began seeing him after he cared for my husband's feet. I have tendinitis and he explained the problem, gave me pads to insert before committing to custom orthopedics pads due to expense, and was very caring.

Visited June 2019. I work close to the office but GPS kept turning me around and I was 10 minutes late. The receptionist was rude, on edge and stated that I may not be able to be seen. She didn't ask if I were okay or had trouble finding the place. Not even a minute later she calls me back, xrays me and I'm with Dr. Murphy right away. Dr. Murphy was very different from her. calm, patient and explained my issue very thoroughly. He was very knowledgeable and made sure I didn't have any questions before I left. Other than the person who checked me in I had a good experience.

This place is great! Dr. Murphy was extremely personable and very nice. I rolled my ankle weeks ago and he provided me with a brace but I didn't wear the proper shoes to fit the brace in, so he taped up my ankle during my appointment so I wasn't in pain the rest of my afternoon and it sure did help! I definitely recommend him and this office!

Friendly, helpful appointment scheduling and front desk reception. Dr. John J. Murphy is friendly, warm; put me at ease by explaining my problem, treatment procedure, and recovery care. Great skill and care!

This was my first visit. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient. I hardly waited at all upon arrival and was seen promptly by the doctor. My visit was informative and detailed and professional. Xrays were taken right away and everything was explained in detail. I would highly recommended this practice and Dr. Murphy.

Excellent experience. The staff is the best I encountered in years: skilled, helpful, professional. I did not have to wait to have a doctor's visit for long. Doctor Murphy is a wonderful podiatrist, one would not be disappointed.

Dr. Murphy is incredible! I recommend him to all of my friends and family. He is very professional and knows what he's doing, while still making you feel comfortable and welcomed. On top of that. the staff is very friendly, every time I go in, making the new patient process so quick & easy.

As a new patient, I saw Dr. Murphy, on July 3. I had a thickened, black and blue toenail, on a big toe. I fully expected, and had a reasonable expectation, that this doctor does all procedures that other Podiatrists do. He refused to file that thickened toe nail because he said it would be unhealthy for his lungs. ( How about wearing a mask, and do your job!) The bottom line is he charged Medicare $127.28, and now I have to go to another Podiatrist and pay $80 or $90 dollars out of pocket!

I believe he had an ethical, and maybe even LEGAL obligation, to inform patients if he doesn't do certain procedures. I feel I got my pocket picked by a shrewd pickpocket! I'm going to file a complaint with the Board of Podiatry and Medicare, but I'm sure this will take a long time to resolve, and I now have to spend $80 or so dollars to get the job done right!

He needs to make it know to patients that he doesn't do certain procedures! He's lucky I gave him two stars because in a subsequent phone conversation, he told me I could file my own toe nail. Can you believe the Chutzpah on this doctor?

I went to see Dr. Murphy today for the first time and had a great experience. He was very thorough, taking xrays of both feet as well. I left feeling like he really listened to my history of symptoms and I have some good suggestions to help my plantar fasciitis.

Dr. Murphy is amazing! I've been to him several times and his office is always clean and the people there are super nice. I've never waited more than 5-10 minutes to see him. Usually they get me right back as soon as I get there. I would highly recommend Mr. Murphy if you have ANY problems with your feet. He really listened to what I had to say and helped me get better quick!
