Christine Corbin, MD graduated from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 1990. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois in 1994. She is board certified in that specialty and has limited her practice exclusively to gynecology since 2004 when she established Northwest Gynecology Associates in Hillsboro, Oregon.Dr. Corbin is also a North American Menopause Society (NAMS) certified provider. She relocated to Oregon from the Midwest in 2001 with her family and has been part of the Hillsboro and greater Portland medical community since that time.

Back in the day years ago she was a great dr, now days things have changed, seems she has to, i recently had breast cancer, she was more upset that she wasn't notified about it and was late to the party as she described then about what i was going through right then, as proceeded to call MY oncologist. I'm not going back to her needless to say, power isnt hers its mine! This is my body and that was very disappointing to experience. so you choose, i think her focus is on weight and natural now as well

I went and saw Haley, FNP and she was great. I really liked her and the office staff were super friendly and great, same with the medical assistant. It is SO important to like your provider when it comes to a Gyn exam and Haley was great. Glad I found this place and tried it out, super convenient walk from home since I can't drive.

Dr corbin herself was AMAZING! But Unfortunately, I don't know if I was lied to or miss lead. But, I had talk to my medical company multiple times before making the appointment, as well as talking to the doctor herself and her front desk lady. That I would not be billed because I had a free annual exam as well as free family planning to take out my birth control.
I was never once told I would be charged a co-pay for a first time visit because I was a new patient not once in the three or four times I had called and talked to the office. So when I called them to resolve this issue and ask him to please send it over correctly so my insurance would completely pay for it, Michelle from billing who had a sweet tone of voice button under tone of attitude which really put a bad taste in my mouth explain to me that I would never walk into somewhere as a new patient and not be billed.
It's not the fact of the money, it's the fact that I felt like I was missed lead after I talk to them multiple multiple times before the appointment. On top of Michelle's underlining rude tone behind her voice on the phone today really bothered me. I will pay the bill off, and I will never ever use this office again and I will let everybody I know that is having children about the problems with this office.
Like I said I loved Dr. Corbin she was amazing but the staff that she has there has put such a bad taste in my mouth I will not recommend them anywhere. And I highly suggest before you go there you make sure you have all of your ducks in an order as well as them, because if not a month and a half later you will be Stuck with a bill, THEY SAID YOU WOULD NOT HAVE

Waste of money and time. I went in for a consultation about some pain I had been having. Everyone was very nice and caring. The nurse that worked with me said everything seemed fine, but had some suggestions on changes that may help me feel better. I was in agreement, since I had already done some research prior to my appointment. After saying I was probably fine, I was surprised when they suggested I get some imaging done.
I figured it was good to be on the safe side, so I went ahead, missed work and got it done. I have high deductible insurance, so I knew it would be a lot, but figured it would be good to be sure that everything is fine. The kicker though is that I never heard back from the office about the results! I called 3 weeks after I had the imaging done and they said "ohh, that's weird nobody has looked at that yet. I'm sure they are going to and they will get back to you then." Right.
That never happened. Another 2 weeks go by and still nothing! I call again and they say, "oh yeah, I see the doctor's notes here. Everything is normal, I guess they just forgot to call you" It feels like such a scam. I ended up going somewhere else for a follow-up appointment. I wanted to love them, they were all great people, very knowledgeable, but watch out if they suggest you get lab work or imaging done. Maybe ask yourself if it really seems necessary.

Money trap! Dr. Corbin will run and send tests out to secondary laboratories without telling you. Then a few months later you will get a huge bill in the mail for something you didn't authorize. And if you call them to fix the charge they act like they don't know anything since they go through a secondary lab. I wouldn't trust this practice.
