I've been going here off and on for around 12 years. I've had a few different doctors during that time, but I'm currently being treated by Dr. Wilson. He has a lot of experience and knows what he's doing. He's been able to figure out what's going on with me when other doctors and specialists have not been able to. It takes hard work on your part to feel better. There is no magic pill that will cure you of long term and chronic conditions, but with hard work and patience, you will get better!

I am forever grateful to Dr. Wilson and his amazing staff for giving me back my health. I had multiple health issues that were drastically effecting my quality of life. Dr. Wilson has positively changed my outcome. I'm feeling much better now and just spoke to him from Charlotte to tweak my plan. The staff is professional, concerned, and empathetic which was comforting as I was not feeling my best until now.

After waiting 7 wks to see Dr Libert I made the 4 1/2 hr round trip. I have been struggling w/ digestive issues/fatigue for many years. 1st impression, I left feeling very hopeful that I had found someone knowledgeable enough to help me sort out my 14 year health downturn. I agreed to all of the test/suppls recommended and therapeutic IV session. The next visit was to review my test results.
From the start, I never questioned or refused what was suggested. After the 2nd IV treatment I had a severe hangover like reaction(queasy/dizzy/dehydrated/pounding headache/short term memory was GONE). It was very scary. The dizziness stayed for a couple of months and my memory is still not where it once was. After 3 in person appts I switched to phone consults as I was too exhausted to make the drive.
Shortly after things started going downhill. I was still very fatigued and having GI stagnation. Being that I eat a very clean, mostly organic Autoimmune Paleo Diet, I knew my diet was not an issue and I also know how important it is to keep things moving digestively but only I seemed to be worried about this. Before each appt I compiled a list of questions/concerns which I brought up to her.
The suppl suggestions based solely on my gene report(which I was charged an extra $30 for and the explanation was a handling fee)were excessive and I rightly questioned them as no testing was done. The suppl dosages used for treating my gut issues were extremely low compared to what other functional doctors are using and having success with. Other gut issues that were flagged by the lab were ignored by her.
I relayed many times I wanted to focus on toxins/infections but she kept steering twds my brain health. Many suppls and a brain scan were suggested. At our next appt I advised that I would like to try adding one suppl at a time to see what is doing what and declined the brain scan as I dont have $2750 to put twds that. I was overcharged on my last appt and had to fight to get my money back and was basically called a liar regarding our phone consult time.
I always track time on my end so I know how long we were on the phone. When speaking to the office manager about this, out of desperation I confided my concerns about my treatment. She was supposed to call me the following wk after she talked to the Dr. I came home the next wk to a certified letter stating our doctor patient relationship is terminated along with seeing any other doctors in their practice.
I was absolutely livid with how she portrayed me in that letter. She also called my primary doctor I was seeing at the time and told her she was discharging me because I was difficult. I came to this doctor for help and got taken advantage of. I am just over $5000 poorer in less than 3 months and "fired" because I questioned her methods which frankly made no sense and no logical explanation was provided when inquired about them.
I had a phone convo w/ the owner, Dr Wilson, and he stated "the relationship wasnt healthy so it had to be terminated so we can all get on with our lives." At $580 for a consult and $85/15 mins moving forward I expected much better treatment. I felt like I had to guide her every step of the way and she sincerely doesn't seem to know what she is doing.
I was told to stop researching because I was "hindering my healing." After my history with many doctors/specialists and being a pharmaceutical guinea pig, which she was aware of, she offered to put me on an anti-depressant. I am glad I kept researching and learning, if I hadnt I would not FINALLY be getting the help I need. Had she done a micro/macronutrient/vitamin analysis that I inquired about, she would have caught the low iron/b12.
These are basics! Working w/ another doctor, we have discovered my thyroid/adrenals are NOT optimal(both tests that she said were good). This experience was more stressful than it should have been. It is WAY past time to go back to conventional medicine for this doc.
