Southwest Sports Medicine

Having recently moved to the area, I was concerned and worried about having to have surgery on my wrist. The BSW Southwest Sports Medicine group was recommended to me and I can honestly say they were the best medical staff I have ever been under the care of. Every staff member from patient relations to the RNs were very friendly and kind. They answered all my questions without hesitation and made me feel so comfortable in a stressful and scary time. Dr. Hoy performed my surgery and was friendly and knowledgeable. He was excellent as was the entire practice. Thank you all so much!

Dr. Boone is the absolute best! He was very professional throughout my entire visit. It's hard finding a doctor who will sit and talk to you with a perfect explanation of your injury. Dr. Boone went above and beyond! I would definitely recommend him to anyone. Not only did he explain what happened with my injury, he explained the healing process! Wish I could give him infinity stars! Dr. Boone you're the best. Everyone at the office was great!

Dr hecox for hands was great! He really cared & addressed another issue I was not even there for. He noticed it & tended to me. How nice. Alot of doctors want to get out & done. I did not feel that there

I'm gonna address that comment about them not caring unless you have money. I went to numerous doctors over a 3 or 4 year period. None of them cared. This place cared. Gave me my life back. I had no money. No insurance, but they helped me find a way to get my acl replaced and find my life back.

We were referred to a Children's hospital in Dallas for my sons ACL tear. The Sports Ames sent no information, nor MRI. So here we are in a two hour drive and the dr to have no info. Horrifying administration.

Dr. Jon Ellis did both of my surgeries for my torn meniscus and lateral repair. He is amazing, very caring and displays care and concern for his patients. I love that he prayed with me before surgery at my request. Definitely recommend him!

I did physical therapy for my wrist with Krista Meeks and Rachel Penton, they were THE best! I was very anxious and worried when I went in. However, they made me feel very comfortable and welcome. I would absolutely recommend them

They do not understand URGENT! After a severe accident with my finger my GP reccomended I see Dr Hecox. The ones who answer the phones are unprofessional do not keep notes on phone calls. I was told the Dr would review notes then get back to me. I stated several times how the injury was infected and I needed to be seen asap. Apparently thats another week past the week I've already waited. Do not go here. They do not want to help you

I can't say enough good things about Southwest Sports Medicine. VERY professional and courteous. Arrived early for the appointment and was called back before we finished the paperwork. Dr. Haynes and the staff treated my son and I as if we were part of the family. Explained everything very thoroughly, and made us comfortable with the treatment. We certainly do not want any more football injuries, but if we do, this is the only place we will go. Thank you again!

Dishonest as the day is long. Had some injection that I was told I would pay $250. We paid over a $1000. Haven't received a bill in over a year and all the sudden we are told we owe another $100. (Scott and white called said it was in collections but collections says there is no bill). Who is running this place. I had my knee replaced and I couldn't get one person to tell me the price? "We'll tell you after the bill is passed". Dr Ferguson seem like a nice guy that wants to pray with you before surgery but be very careful!

Video every service you receive - I have been billed for services I did not receive (5 physical therapy treatments charged 11. I'm still waiting to see the occupational therapist that I was charged for). This is not to mention the mark up on the joint from 4K to 23k. I talked to Scott and white and they say they bill what dr orders while dr Ferguson says it's the hospital- Either way someone is very dishonest- stay away!
