The hour and a half that I spent researching "how to write a bad review" (yes, in order to leave a review for this location) was FAR better spent than the hour and a half of hearing the droning sound of their unanswered phone. Contacting this place is nigh unto impossible and, the nightmare of communication is overshadowed by the severe lack of concern for patients.
I do not wish to misslead anyone reading this review, if I could leave 0 stars I would. To write more would only waste more of my time. However, it should be noted that I called 17 separate times with no answer. The only times that I was contacted was to inform me that an appointment scheduled for July had to be moved to August because of an error committed by the Nephrology Associates of Utah and then again to inform me of another error had forced that appointment to have to be moved again.
The second time this occured I was informed the DAY BEFORE my appointment and upon trying to reschedule I had to opt for an availability in September. I have taken off work two separate times and have suffered through the droning message about how the inbox is full too many times and on different days. There has been no further efforts on the part of the Nephrology Associates of Utah to remedy the situation.
I have decided to try and find another location. The only conversation I wish to have is one in which I cancel my appointment, because I would never want to see any professional (no matter how good) associated with this failure of an institution.

I am extremely happy and pleased to see how well the staff have done an amazing job, Dr. Elisbet Atkin Thor is my Mom, she helped establish Nephrology Addociates, she was one of the 4 doctor's that started working there when they opened, she is now retired and lives in Oregon, both my Mom and I are forever grateful to the new doctors there, thank you Sincerely Rita Atkin Matthews

Dr Tien is my doctor there and I think he's excellent. I haven't any issues with the people working there. I had a kidney transplant 13 years ago and I know Dr Tien looks out for me. If i don't receive labs, i call them. No big deal. Usually i just ask the Dr and he gives me a copy. Note to the person whose labs cost so much, you don't have to use their lab. Go to a lab that works with your insurance.

Dr. Lau was helpful and thorough, but I was told by her I would have my labs by the end of the day, I didn't receive them until 6 days later. I was then told they would be emailed to me, which they never were. The Murray location is fine, Dr. Lau was good, but I probably wouldn't recommend this office to anyone.
