I've been seeing Dr Kamalu and his staff since 2015, He and most of his staff are fantastic. Every business has a rare missed step (what happens with Humans right, as no one can be perfect 100% of the time), especially in the healthcare industry. I do not have any less respect or felt less respected the one time in 6 years I didnt get a call back within 24 hrs, it happens anyplace you go at least once if you go there long enough.
The fact is He and his staff have never left me hanging, understand their patients situations and always want to help. Dr Kamalu is very knowledgeable, yet he is always doing what he can to stay on top of new health discoveries and treatments. It is great practice and I have not wanted for anything as a patient.

Communication and Billing with Kaysville Clinic is the Worst! I have been trying for over a month to get Julia in Billing to give me a call regarding a question on a bill. No response, nada, zip. Also, It took them 4 months to even invoice me for the first visit. Not impressed Kaysville Clinic - time to step up your game.

We love Dr. Kamalu and his staff! We've been seeing him since moving here in 2006, and he's become like family to us. He always takes time to find out how we are doing and chat for a few minutes. We never feel like we are being shuttled in and out, like a lot of doctor's offices. In this world of PPO's, HMO's, and government healthcare schemes, Dr. K has managed to put the "family" back in Family Practice.

Really negative experiences. The staff was incredibly hard to get a hold of, forgot to schedule follow up appoinments, and wouldn't return phone calls. In addition, they claimed that an affiliate lab had "lost" my blood sample, and that they had spent "hours" on the phone with the lab trying to figure it out. When I called the lab to follow up myself, they had all of my bloodwork available within 5 minutes.
Not sure if the Kaysville clinic staff lied about my bloodwork being lost, but it certainly seemed suspicious, especially in light of how unresponsive they have been in the past.

I've been seeing Dr Kamalu for around 10 years now. I can safely say if it wasn't for him I don't know where i'd be today. Through his care I have been able to go from rock bottom with nothing to offer anyone, to where I am today - a husband, father and healthy successful man. His compassion and passion for helping people keeps him constantly doing what he feels is best for you.
He will be brutally honest with you, he will always treat medical situations with the highest level of concern for your well-being and always act to the best of his ability to help you. I know my review may seem a too high of praises but it is a testamony to how much he truly has made an impact on me and my families lives. I'm eternally thankful to Dr. Kamalu and all of his wonderful staff!

A Dr that really cares and takes the time to listen to your concerns. His staff is just as great and devoted to to helping you when you are in need. I has problems with my insurance as well but I was super patient bc he is worth seeing and they can't help what the insurance does. I am so grateful they kept me when my insurance did change also and went far and beyond what other clinics have done to keep me as a patient.
They will bend over backwards to help but you need to understand that he is so good that people wait days to get a appointment. So to those who just want to run in and expect him to drop EVERYTHING, ignore his scheduled patients to take care of your non emergency problem is really just plain ignorant. That is not cause for a bad review, his bed side manner and staffs ability to make you feel really comfortable and overall help is what these reviews should be based on.

Dr Kamalu saved my life. He is the most caring and thorough physicians I have ever met. I was finally able to open up, be comfortable and get help. He takes his time, knows what he is doing and is non judgmental. For someone to leave a bad review over a billing issue is classless. You will not receive better care anywhere in Utah. His office staff is amazing, I feel so lucky I am one of his patients. I recommend him to all my family, friends and anyone looking for a physician. You won't find a better MD!

Dr. Kamalu and the staff at the Kaysville Clinic were incredibly professional and friendly. I got a physical exam for work as well as a TB test. They are very personable and efficient. I was taken back to the exam room within 5 minutes of checking in. I waited maybe another 5 minutes max for the doctor to come in. My entire visit took less than 40 minutes and that is unheard of in the medical world. Kudos to the them for being so efficient and yet warm and friendly. Highly recommend them if you need a family physician.

Our insurance changed and our previous doctor wasn't on the approved list so my husband went to Kaysville Clinic a couple of times. Boy what a mistake! They completely screwed up the insurance claim and it took me months to get the bill straightened out. Also at our other doctors clinic my husband can go in for a quick blood pressure check and they don't charge him for an office visit.
At the Kaysville Clinic they even wanted to charge for an office visit when my husband just wanted to ask the doctor a question about a test. Thank heaven our previous doctor got on the new insurance approved list and we were able to go back to them.
