I wouldn't even mark a star but it's the only way I can write a review, so with that being said I went in on May 24th, 2022 and had to have an X-ray. While waiting for an excuse for work and to find out what's going on with my wrist I had a very rude ugly triage nurse come in my room and tried to accuse me of my phone being loud when it was not. It's on silent 24/7. They need better nurses clearly. I don't take being accused all that great.

There needs to be an audit on this place! The emergency room staff are horrendous! Refused medical care! Rude entitled uneducated uncaring! I'm shocked at the lack of compassion and lack of medical care. These women are out of control! Rude unprofessional! Refused to give medical care. Did I mention that they are incredibly rude!

I recently had surgery at North Baldwin Infirmary. I honestly didn't even know there was a hospital in Bay Minette until about two months before my surgery. I live less than 10 minutes from another hospital, and wasn't thrilled that I would have to travel 30 minutes to North Baldwin for my surgery, but I'm very glad I did. Every person there was friendly and knowledgeable.
I only stayed one night, but I felt like I was the only patient in the hospital during that time. I never heard or saw another patient during my stay, and this is during a spike in Covid cases, so I know I wasn't alone. They seemed to be sufficiently staffed in a time when everyone is under staffed. We parked right up front when we arrived, and actually joked that they might be closed.
I felt like this is the kind of hospital that celebrities would use when trying to avoid crowds. Respiratory therapists came to my room and probably spent 10 minutes talking to me and making sure I knew how to work the device I was given. We even discussed how they drive one hour to work there because it is such a great place to work. This hospital has recently undergone a multi million dollar renovation and you can tell.
Even the food was good! I didn't even have to use the salt and pepper packets that I was given because the food had a good enough flavor on its own. I can't say enough good things about this hospital. Going forward this is my preferred hospital.

Went for a blood test as I do every 6 months. Found thst location had changed from lab to rear of bldg in outpatient location- with no signage. First of all no parking was available. Receptionist took my order and I sat outside until there was room inside. There were 3, then 2 patients waiting. One, a lady, became more and more agitated. She demanded to know problem and was told it was new software that had issues.
After more than 2 hrs, and no one acknowledging me except the nice receptionist Megan, i asked for my orders back so I could go elsewhere to get the test done. Very disappointed, I try to support Bay Minette; our citizens and your patients deserve better.
