Dr. Nelson of Fairhope Gynecology, just performed what was supposed to be a super cervical hysterectomy, (on May 26, 2022), only to wake up and be told that he just burned the cyst off of my ovary and just left it! We agreed that he would remove it and I would start HRT.only to wake up and find that I still have the same problem that I was in there to get rid of!
I live in Gulf Shores, AL. I'm about to go to the new ER they just built to get examined and attain my proof! HE IS NOT GOING TO THIS TO ANOTHER WOMAN AGAIN! You are welcome to meet me there

M doctor is Dr. D wells and I absolutely love him, I've been seeing him since the start of my pregnancy and he is very professional, listens to everything and answers any questions or concerns I may have. His nurses are phenomenal and the phlebotomists are friendly and very good at their jobs. I've been to different OBGYNS in the past and I have to say just for my doctor this is best care I have ever received during my pregnancy.

I know one thing they lied to me saying I didn't have a cyst on my ovary. Went to another doctor the day after and they found a cyst. I knew something wasn't right when I was having pains from no reason. No professional workers there just new interns that doesn't know what they talking about. The older doctor should just retire because that could have been a lawsuit if it got worse. I'll never let this place treat me under my condition. How can you miss a cyst on a transvaginal ultrasound?

I do not recommend this practice or Dr. Nelson. At my initial appointment to establish care the office was very behind and disorganized, when I was finally taken back to see Dr. Nelson he rushed through my appointment and did not give me the time to talk to him about my medical history, and was very dismissive about my concerns. He did not take the time to answer the questions I asked and I did not feel heard or cared for at all.
I was at this office for over 3 hours due to the wait and disorganization. I will say that the nurses who I talked to were very nice and are the best thing about this practice.

I loved the nurses they were gentle and explained things very well. I was very uncomfortable with my doctor and I was 3 for three hours waiting to see him. They told me my next appointment was going to be longer. The exam he did was a bit painful and he didnt seem to want to listen to anything I said or my concerns about the rh factor cause my mom had it with me n my twin brother. I would like to change doctors here am I allowed to do that? I prefer a female. They are at least gentle.

Dr. Dimoff got her "degree" from the West Indies, she has zero knowledge, the office staff and nurses are wonderful but Dr Jackoff. I mean Dimoff is incompetent and should not be employed in this country! I wish Dr Roh was still available, atleast he has an actual medical degree from an actual American college! I feel like we would be better off having an equestrian deliver our daughter over this Dimoff lady.

I made an appointment back in June for July 19th as a new patient moving from another state. I showed up at 8am for my 815am appointment. I was placed in a room for an hour & 20 minutes before anyone even came to check on me. The doctor had been in surgery, which is fine bc I was not dying. It's the lack of bedside manner from the staff here. When I was placed in the room I was told she'd be right in.
They could have said "Hey, she's in surgery it could be a while. Wait a bit and we can reschedule if you need". Her nurse also could have checked on me or updated me every so often. But, no. There's also other doctors there, they could have offered for another one to see me if I was okay with that. I got a call 5 minutes after I walked out that she was done with surgery, but I had to get back to work bc I had wasted 2 hours of leave. When I called to reschedule, lollll bc they already had all of my information & I decided one more try. I was told I had to wait another month. Don't wasted your time.

Not sharing the name of the Doctor who helped me, but I've been experiencing some severe issues since March, when I finally got there, I was told I was stressed out, never got a call regarding my exams and waited an hour and a half before I could even see a nurse. Tracy, the nurse was fantastic and the red haired lady at front was very courteous too. However, I had to reschedule everything with a competent practice and I found out I am not only anemic, but I have to undergo a surgery related to the issues I mentioned to the doctor. An incompetent doctor is a stressful thing to deal with. Imagine if I had followed her recommendations to "watch and see" I'd probably be in the hospital right now.

Very judgmental place. I'm sure the doctors are great and know what they are doing but I haven't felt so looked down upon in a very longtime and my visit yesterday left me feeling that way. The dirty blonde young lady at the front is not friendly at all. The nurse who called me back made faces at the receptionist implying that I looked weird or crazy.
I have pink hair so I am use to the looks but the nurse did it right in front of my face as if she wanted me to see. Doctor made me feel like I looked like I was on welfare. I don't have insurance and he kept telling me the test he was going to run was expensive, it's not free and medicare doesn't cover. If I didn't have the money to pay for what I was asking for then I wouldn't have even came in. I will be looking for a new doctor. Thanks Dr. Nelson! The 2 stars are for the nurse who drew my blood, she was sweet and super friendly.

I can't stress enough how wonderful the staff is here. From the front desk receptionist to the ultrasound techs everyone is great. Normally phlebotomists have trouble with my veins but the ones here never have any issues. My doctor was Dr. Dimoff, she is the best obgyn I've ever had. I love this office and the staff!

This office is TERRIBLE the only reason I stayed is because Medicaid wouldn't let me switch during my pregnancy. This place is so disorganized no one knows what's going on or communicates with your specialist if your high risk. Dr Nelson is rude and has been very open about his opinions on me and my wife's relationship and when we got pregnant we read so many good things about him. no.
He makes comments all the time about finding the "father" and made me feel like I had to get in touch with him to get his blood type for my daughters safety which I found out at my specialist wasn't necessary which we didn't want to tell the donor any information to begin. he's very creepy. horrible c section and he failed to explain the risk and benefits of taking certain medication so my daughter was in the NICU for four days. Just a terrible experience for a first time mom who is over protective they make u feel dumb.

I used Dr. Nelson during my pregnancy. I honestly don't understand why some say they've had an awful time with him. He never pushed his beliefs on me. I gave birth in June and saw him from the very beginning. He made me very comfortable & I think he's hilarious and even when I was yelling at him in pain about to give birth, he was still able to make me smile!
The staff were so nice that after I gave birth, I was so upset because I knew I wasn't going to get to see them that often anymore. This place was literally a second home for me, and that's coming from someone who is not a Christian, had a face full or piercings, tattoos, is very open with their opinions, and is quick to change things when uncomfortable. I will always recommend them to people!

Great office & loved Dr Mary Wells, but was a little surprised by the hour and a half wait for my first appointment when I arrived early to fill out paperwork and did all medical history online. All my other previous OBGYN appts are usually under 15-20 min wait, and front desk is sure to let me know of any delays to expect, as deliveries and emergencies happen. Nursing staff & blood work lab were both very kind in the back, but as a healthcare provider myself, I think it's always nice when front desk takes the time to greet you and also keep you posted on time frame if you've been waiting 1-1.5hr past your appointment time. Will definitely return here, but just something I've heard from a few others & experienced myself. Thank you!
