Physician House Call MGMT Service

Very good doctors. But over all Parkland needs a better means of communication with family members who love ones are patients. So it's imparative that if you or a love is a patient make sure everyone is on the same page.

I am giving Five stars because of the Lady named Deann Reynolds in the Business Office. This woman was very very helpful and she seemed to really care about patients and people in general. Ms. Deann I want to personally tell you publicly thank you. Thank you so much for helping me help my brother. When life has so much going their is people like you to help guide and help through tough times.

When we came in on yesterday you were most helpful. We did not have to wait long at all. I thank you a million. Your a blessing and please keep your heart because it is such a light in a dark world. Thank you Parkland for hiring such a beautiful being.

I just got discharged from pod H. When I arrived I I was asked what brought me to the hospital, I stayed I had a cough and believed the pneumonia I had previously been treated for might be back. I waited 4 hours to be seen, and when I finally got assigned a room (Pod H) I was treated very disrespectfully by the charge nurse named Lilly and was belittled and discriminated against by the nurse who stated I was unable to pay for my medication or service and that is why I was at this hospital which was in the disrespectful assumption.

The doctor bedside manner was very aggressive and many of the staff acted like they did not want to do their job. This hospital needs to be fined and must train their employees to be respectful and empathetic towards their patients.

My boyfriend has been sitting there since 11:30am and it's currently 8:13pm. He has a permanent catheter that is in abdomen. It drains the urine from his bladder. It has ripped and is leaking. He has wet himself but they don't see it as a priority! This a tube that is coming out of his body! I live 3hrs away but if I was there I would've taken him to Baylor Scott White in Irving.

They are the best in caring for their patients in the emergency room! When I lived in Dallas I never went to Parkland. I went to St. Paul and boys were born there. Parkland sucked back then and still does. You know the people that are giving 5 have to be workers!

0 stars cause the wait time to get anything done in the emergency room can be 5+ hour wait! If you are dying of anything you will end up being dead from their lack of staffing. Truly I've never seen a hospital so atrocious with how long their wait time has been. I would only recommend to my worst enemy to go here. Never coming back!

Terrible terrible experience! My son had 2nd degree burns from spilling hot water on his neck and chest, but they had us wait for at least 40 minutes without ANY treatments! My son was crying crying and crying in the meantime. But I can understand that the doctor might be busy treating other patients. HOWEVER, what made me really angry was that after the treatment, I asked if I can stay another 5 minutes to review the documents and get my son ready to leave, and the registered nurse (I know his name but will not mention it here as he apologized eventually) told me that "I have to clean up this room but TAKE YOUR TIME (sarcasm)." I mean I waited for over 40 minutes and you cannot allow me to stay another 5 minutes?! Also, they simply assumed that I am a Medicaid recipient!

The lady was recoding my name, date of birth etc, and it came to insurance, she said, "your insurance? Medicaid?" What?! Yes, I was wearing pajamas without makeups because I was panicking when leaving home. Please don't simply assume my status because of my outfit! I'm a senior manager at a big telecom company by the way! I would never ever go to that place again!

Go here at your own risk. I was rushed through my birth because the one doctor present had somewhere they wanted to be. The doctor was a woman who I unfortunately didn't catch the name of since she took off immediately after. They nurses had agreed I was barely reaching the desired dilation and still had me bear down repeatedly and force the birth.

I tore badly and ended up needing stitches. They then tried to hold me and my newborn for three days against our will. It was obvious why I didn't feel comfortable staying there.

I want to compliment Dr Charles I. Medina & the rest of the Awesome Nurses & staff at the Urgent Care when I was there yesterday. They All went above & beyond the call of duty & I greatly appreciate them and their care efforts so much! On a side note, only challenge I had is with a hospital policy. I'm highly allergic to All Preservatives & etc & when my blood sugar was falling they had no food there to give me without Preservatives.

All they had was crackers. That was not their fault. That was The Hospital's. I would respectfully suggest Parkland should address this. Other than that, Everyone was Great! I can't thank you enough for All you do!

I was hospitalized there recently, 2 major surgeries, and I had the best of care. The doctors were excellent. The nurses were very patient and very caring. I felt very well cared for, with state of the art facilities. Thank God they accept my health insurance.
