Kathy defending her PA on fabricated patients notes and imaginary letters to dismiss patients is unethical. They have no communication skills amongst each other and they "DISMISS" patients with out them knowing because they don't like their attitudes!? Disgusting behavior and culture from this clinic. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.

:(. :(. Very unhappy due just got cancel due my sister in law not able to go in by herself. She is in a wheelchair and she is not able to ask or answer questions. We have taken her to different appointment and she had her husband with her due to her medical condition. But at VALLEY WOMANS CLINIC her husband is not able to go in per staff due to COVID-19.
I called my doctor and asked if we get a referral would her husband be able to go in with her and they told me as long as they wear a mask he can. Not a friendly place VALLEY WOMANS CLINIC. Or should I say patient friendly. :(. :(. :(

Dr. Cohen delivered my first baby at Valley Baptist and it was a horrible experience for my husband and I. After being induced at his demand because I was already 39.5 weeks, he left me with ptsd basically. He is a doctor with horrible bedside manner and temperament. He should not be a physician. On the day of induction Dr. Cohen brought in a group of student doctors to break my waters (after I had declined anyone coming into the room) He told me in front of this group of student doctors that if I "didn't want him to break my waters (with them present), he would discharge me and I could go home and have the baby on my own" at this point I felt horribly violated spread eagle for strangers to see.
He broke my water bag and left the room, the student doctors following behind him. He then ordered me to go on Pitocin to which my body didn't respond well as it cause my blood pressure to rise dangerously high, he then instructed they gave me magnesium to counteract the high blood pressure. this in turn would stop my labor. By 18 hours in, I was begging for a c-section.
He left me in the see-saw state between pitocin and magnesium for 34 hours until I seized and had to be wheeled into the OR for an emergency c-section. I wasn't able to hold my baby when they were born or look at them, my husband didn't even get to go into the OR because it all happened so fast. It is my personal opinion Dr. Cohen should not be a doctor.
He has the knowledge for it, sure, my daughter and I are alive because he worked fast, but he placed us in that situation to begin with. He has the knowledge to be a doctor, but not the temperament. He does what he thinks is right regardless of what the patient wants. My way or the highway mentality. He doesn't take the patient's privacy into consideration or their well being either. I never went back to his office.

I took a close relative to this clinic to get results of a recent procedure. The wait was long and the customer service and concern was very lacking on the part of the staff and the physician. Instead of going into the details of what happened on this visit, I'll state what didn't happen. Not one person informed us or apologized for the long wait even after I informed the front desk staff that my elderly relative had been waiting over an hour.
Once she was called back to the doctor no one greeted us kindly or directed us to the exam room. During the exam the doctor was not very attentive. I'm sad that women of the valley have to tolerate this type of bad service from a medical office that deals with their most sensitive and private medical needs. Women do not have to put up with this.
Find another clinic, a better clinic that will respect you. They do exist and there are very kind and attentive staff at other clinics. This is not one of them. I do not recommend you go here.

Okay, I can look past the fact that I had to wait for almost 2 hours due to discrepancies with my insurance; however, the PA I saw was just terrible. The receptionist was nice and friendly and helped with my insurance information, but when I finally saw the PA (I forgot which one.an elderly white female), it was terribly rushed. No talking, no asking/answering questions, no comments.nothing. It was so cold and uncomfortable. It was as if a robot was examining me. I'm definitely going back to my usual OB-GYN.

The Dr's and nurses are friendly but the secretary staff is very rude. They care more about payment than their patients well being. Given my circumstances, I needed an ultra sound done asap and they said the next one wouldn't be available till 3 weeks later. I asked if they were that short staff in which the lady on the phone answered back with attitude that they were just that busy. In top of that, I didn't have ins. But was waiting till I received my medicaid and asked if they could bill me so medicaid could cover it and they did not allow it.
